And all things on the earth shall alter,
And shall not appear in their time:
And the moon shall alter her order,
And not appear at her time.
And in those days the sun shall be seen and he shall journey in the evening on the extremity of the great chariot in the west
And shall shine more brightly than accords with the order of light.
And many chiefs of the stars shall transgress the order (prescribed).
And these shall alter their orbits and tasks,
And not appear at the seasons prescribed to them.
And the whole order of the stars shall be concealed,
And the thoughts of those on the earth shall err concerning them,

I've read in a few places that rotting trees emit methane and CO2( both are greenhouse gases).

I was just wondering what else they emitted. I'm curious if there is a surplus of Oxygen, a deficit, or that we break even.

Hippie Environmental Alarmists need not preach the danger of throwing plastic cups on the ground.

Thanks in advance.

As in, if I wanted to say the square root of x. How could I type it without, you know, just saying it?

I suppose I should know the answer to this or be able to find it in my books b/c I am going into healthcare, but I couldn't find the answer - the dr just diagnosed me with chronic sinusitis. Turns out I've had it for at least 5 mos., maybe more. He even thinks I have MOLD growing in my nose! Talk about gross...!!! The initial treatments back in the spring didn't work, so tomorrow I am starting on avalox. But anyways, I am going to an out of town wedding this weekend and going to be hanging around with friends a lot and wondering if I should avoid sharing drinks & food with them.... Can I make them sick from my really bad sinus infection or is it just contained and not transmissible that easily?

THANKS! Any articles about mold growing in body cavities during sinus infections are welcome as well, for my educational advancement if nothing else! =o)

You are on a spaceship moving closer to the sun. Your food supply is supplemented by an on board greenhouse. The light intensity is increasing and for visual comfort, you must block out some sunlight. What color of glass-reflecting pan do you install to preserve the maximum photosynthesis and why?

someone asked me whether or not a fish could drown? I wasn't sure if they were being stupid or serious. So I imagine that if the water was depleted of oxygen then it would drown but doesn't water need oxygen to be water? I don't know .. that's why I am asking.

Theory, according to my reading, seems to indicate that the reason gravity is such a weak force is, because it is leaking out of our universe, into parallel universes. This begs the question, whether what we call dark matter (and are unable to detect other than through its impact gravity wise), is simple gravity leakage from parallel universes?

Some people say homosexuality is a genetic trait. If this is true, it may be possible to turn off the homosexual gene while the baby is in the womb.

If science progresses to that point, would you make that decision?
