i have come 2 know that when energy is supplied to a black body,it absorbs all radiations and emits a continous spectrum...now,when a bar of iron is heated,it turns red to blue...how does this happen......so,how is the temperature related to the colour..........and what is the differnce if the energy is in the form of heat....and when in form of light?????

I simply would like to compute
(a+r*b+r^2*c)^3
where r^3=1 is a principal third root of of 1.

I know the result, but like to compute it using maple.
expand and simplify and assume instructions simply does not work!

For all those UFO buffs. Those who don't believe, please keep your peace.

Have you ever noticed most if not all of the news reports on UFOs involved only flying saucers? This is contrary to what is in the movies these days, which dwells on stories of interstella or intergalactic spacecrafts.

The logic is that if there are a number of extra terrestrial civilisations out there, then there should be different types of spacecrafts, just like what is propogated in the movies.

Do you believe there is something special about flying saucers? Why is it most extra terrestrials used flying saucers and not other types of spacecrafts?

Good idea? Bad idea? (I have my own opinion, but I don't want to influence responses)

Will humans ever mine other planets like Mars for natural resources? Are there any valuable natural resources in other planets? I reckon in the future we will exploit other planets and space more just like we exploit earth. Its all cost at the mo I suppose. But Im sure we will work our way around that problem.

It is a given that light has mass-- that's why it is affected by gravity.

It is also a given that light bounces off objects-- that's how we see objects.

But, with all this light bouncing off every object in all directions, why doesn't the light collide with itself and disolve into a field of visual static?

I am trying to understand EM waves. These are transverse waves which as they propagate create a E/M waves. I want to know the MAGNITUDE of the charge at the maximum points. The charge is 0 to begin with. Then after ¼ cycle it reaches a +ve max. It then decreases to 0. Then goes to –ve max and again back to 0 completing 1 cycle of its frequency. My question is what the value of the charges at the zenith. Do they equal the charge of an electron? Or does the magnitude at zenith depend on the frequency of the EM wave?
