When a star runs out of hydrogen to burn, it starts burning helium and so on until all of the fuel source is burned away into iron. My question is after a star has burned past its' main sequence and is burning helium, is the core temperature of the star lower? higher? the same?
It seems to me that the temperature would have to be higher in order to fuse these heavier elements.

If you can, how? Say 2 liters of water/bi-layered liquid into over 28 grams of methamphetamine...

If this can be done, please show me the formula. I know grams are mass and liters are volume, but if this can be done, please show me how!!

((It's for a court case, I'm a Paralegal!!))

I'm not trying to put a feminist agenda on this, but I was curious when I read it in a book. I know that men are stronger than women, but why is it that muscle genes cluster on the X chromosone, and why aren't women stronger since they have two?

Ok as I under stand it the big bang theory states at 1 point in time and space that all known matter in the universe converged into 1 area and then was rapidly dispersed and formed balls of gas that formed stars, planets and all known matter in the universe.

There is something illogical about this assessment. That is to say that would a huge black hole have been formed and all matter would have been a black hole or later consumed by a that black hole. What was the force that propelled the matter apart? I say it was god.

This is a short version of a much larger theory.

3 nearly broke guys decided to share a hotel room. the sign outside the hotel said rooms for $30. They went inside and each paid $10 to the clerk. When the night clerk came on duty he realized the room was overcharged, because of a $25 special. The night clerk sent the bellboy up to their room with five $1 bills. The bellboy not being too smart did not know how to divide $5 among the three men. so he put $2 in his pocket and gave the three men the $3 to divide among themselves. This made each man paying $9 each. If $9 times 3 men = $27 plus the $2 the bell boy kept equalling $29, where did the other $1 go?

No, the $27 does not already include the $2. Wrong.
No, you don't subtract the $2, you DO add it. Trying to ACCOUNT for money here. Don't get caught on this, wrong.
Yes, it's easy to say $25 + $2 + ($1 X $3)= $30 anyone can do that.
No, they didn't pay $8.33 each. Wrong.
If you chose any of the above, you're not reading.
In basic math it's 9X3=27+2=29...where's the $1

I'd love to read some spooks right now just to get some thinking done!

Here's my spooky story.

My great g-ma died a few years ago, but that year when she passed- I was given a pic of her and it sat on my desktop...so anyway, when I was on the PC, I was told to get off..but I didn't..but then all of a sudden-

my PC went off by itself!!:O And I gazed at my g-ma's pic, and I was like "Oh my god."
