No H02 is not water...
but lets not all attack the celebutant. Her actual lyrics are "Be the devil and angel too" not "be the devil in H O 2"

It never was water if it is HO2. Water consists of 2 hydrogens and 1 oxygen. The numbers showing how many parts of each element that are in a compound are written as subscript after the letters symbolizing the element. Since I can not depict subscripts here, the closest I can get to writing the formula for water is H2O. HO2 can not exist in nature as a stable compound.

No because that would make it 1 Hydrogen and 2 Oxygen. Water is 1 Oxygen and 2 Hydrogen.

The answer is no. Water is in its bulk form 2 atoms of hydrogen (H) to 1 atom oxygen (O). This does not mean that every molecule of water is H2O as sometimes two molecules will react to form H3O+ and OH- (hydronium and hydroxide ions), but the ratio is still the same.
In HO2, the ratio is reversed, yielding an entirely different compound. My guess is that it is a hydrogen peroxide molecule (H2O2) stripped of one of it protons, yielding an anion. I doubt that this would be very stable.

HO2, or commonly known as HOO, is not a stable compound and can only exist conjugated to a large molecule. It is not (as some people have said) a hydroxyl radical or hydrogen peroxide, it is a peroxyl radical, usually generated by formed by the reaction of superoxide (O2-) with another radical system.

I think we are all aware of the intelligence that Paris has. No HO2 is not the same as H2O it is a totally different compound all together. It is made of different molecules and, if it exists, it is a completely different substance.

No because there needs to be 2 H and just 1 O if it was 1 H and 2 O that wouldnt work.

No it isn't. HO2 is actually not possible. O2 is already a full molecule. An extra H cannot possibly combine with O2.

So, is a compound with two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom the same as a compound with one hydrogen atom and two oxygen atoms (which I'm not sure can even exist)?
My advice: don't consider anything from Paris Hilton's brain as scientifically accurate.
-edit-
And please don't say "Paris Hilton" and hit in the same sentence. I'd think somebody assaulted her, 'cuz she sure ain't a good musician.

No. Just no. One, that can't exist, two, Paris Hilton is never right about anything (as a rule of thumb), and three any chemical formula is unique to one chemical.
