The arrogance of man is amazing. Finding meaning in life is often accepting those things we can't change or don't understand.

Here is something I learned quite a while..

There is a God, and I'm not it.
While I find in world and the universe untold questionsb about how this all occured I don't define it as magical, but as miraculous.
I don't attend church but I do belief the God exists and can do for us what we can't do for ourselves. Not in a Santa sort of way either. I've not thought "how".. I am amazed by the processes of geology, but human existence and human awareness is an infant or inutero compared to this brief glimpse of history we get in the 80-100 years we will live.

It's not magic, It's faith. Faith is not believing in magic, it's understanding miraculous occurances have happened.. Forever is an infinite condition. In terms of the always was, is and will be.

Yes, believe in something outside of yourself, be it God, Krishna, a universal force. It is a healthy foundation which will propell you forward.

So how did God make the earth? I am sure it wasn't with a Betty Crocker and a Mix Master!! (lol) Seriously though, it has been purported that "The Source", "God", is energy in its purest form without matter. So to experience Itself/Himself, the energy was fragmented and virtually "thought" into existence. So maybe many souls had a "hand" in the manufacture.

No, as a matter of fact, he isn't the only human to have magic powers. But he's the most prolific, the most written about, and the most documented! There is a possibility that when the "Bible" was written there wasn't any other "reference" to anything other than God (and, therefore, his abilities)!

I believe that God exists, but he did NOT create the Earth. According to the strong principle, things in the Universe were created by the combination of just the right "ingredients".

monito™ / sixxx: Shut up. God does exist.

Wel he's not exactly human... He's not exactly a *he* either. But God and science are not opposing forces- God is the why behind science, and science is the how behind God. God is, by definition, far greater than any human being.

well i don't think he's quite 'human'...but if you read the bible...the story of the creation matches exactly with how the scientists say earth had to be created! i go to a private religious college so my bio class was awesome...totally comparing the two. way cool

Why do all the people who responded to this question say that god doesn't exist and stop wasting your time? If you think that god doesn't exist then don't answer the question!
