My friend and I were discussing the best super powers to have and she chose stopping time. I said the power to stop time would be cool in some instances but not in most since you wouldnt have any precognative abilities to predict when time should be stopped and in some instances like a plane crashing into the ocean, you couldnt do anything to save yourself. Whenever you see anyone with the ability to freeze time in movies they also have the ablilty to move things within that time space (like on the trailer for Click when he moves the kid's baseball mitt). My theory is that if you can stop time you cant exert the force to move things within it, only the ability to move around it, like moving at light speed. Or if you can move things then you can't walk on water...ergo you could escape from a plane hatch but not make it back to shore because you'd sink in the ocean. Does anyone else agree or have some sort of quantum theory they could use to answer this question?

I want the rule for divisibilty by 7 as well as the proof? Apply that rule to check if for example 398258 is divisible by 7 or not.

A capsule or ship was sent in to space, many years ago... it contained data, which includes some mathematics, some music (that of Bach and of Pink Floyd) and some photos, along w/ other things... kind of like a Time Capsule, but in Space. Does anyone know the name of that ship or capsule? I remember it being referenced on the X-Files once.

It seems to me that most Americans carry around a 1950's stereotype of Nuclear Power Plants. Many, ignorantly, site Chernobyl as a valid source of their fears. If there is some sort of confusion, then what is it specifically?

I am an analytical chemist generating data from a titration. It is not uncommon to have one of the three measurements be quite different from the other two. Also, the precision (repeatability and reproducibility) of the analysis is known. THANKS

I never took antibiotics except in emergencies, and now I've got a great immune system. I'm not even worried about the avian flu. I've gotten the flu only once my whole life, my body has been able to prevent a normally permenant virus from manifesting it's symptoms or shedding. I'm constantly around people when they're sick, and I take care of them. I never get sick from them.

My doctor never prescribed me antibiotics unless there was a serious threat, and now doctors prescribe antibiotics for every little thing. What's the point in our bodies trying to produce antibiotics if we're always providing them? I think all doctors should follow my child-hood doctor's practice.

Just for reference, my brother had the same doctor, never any problems. My sister had a different doctor, who prescribed antibiotics all the time, and guess what? She gets sick all the time too!
