Burned hydrogen
Hydrogen is unstable on its own and bonds readily to oxygen in the presense of an energy source such as heat.
So when hydrogen burns, a couple of Hydrogen atoms bond atomically to a single oxygen atom.
Thus you end up with Two Hydrogens and One Oxygen to create a single water molecule.
Something of interest, when hydrogen burns it releases a huge amount of energy. So much so that the Space Shuttle uses Hydrogen to launch into orbit. All that smoke exhausted from the launch is actually steam of newly created water.

As you may know the chemical formula for water is H20. The "H" is hydrogen and the "O" is oxygen. So water is made from two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.

Most of these other answers are correct. Water that comes from city systems also has fluoride and selenium in it. There are also traces of Chlorine. Water from older systems may also contain lead. If you live in a rural area, your water probably contains iron and/or sulphur. If there is an orange stain in your sink or shower underneath the faucet, then this means that there is most likely iron in your water. If your water smells bad, like rotten eggs, it probably contains sulphur

Water has the chemical formula H2O, meaning that one molecule of water is composed of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom. It can also be described ionically as HOH, with a hydrogen ion (H+) that is bonded to a hydroxide ion (OH-).

It's the minerals that give water it's flavor.
