Trying to Conceive - February 2007

I know normally it takes 14 days for a woman to ovulate from the day her period starts. I started my period Jan 22. and still havent ovulated (its been 24 days) is that alright? Should i continue taking ovulation tests until I get a surge or should I go to the dr. ? Does anyone else take this long.

Im not sure how long it normally takes for me to ovulate. I recently stopped breastfeeding didnt have a period during that time.

Last three periods very heavy, i mean to the point of wearing a tampon and pad and going through both of them. This month was 4 days late, started with light brown spotting, then got a little heavier and more red in color. Still not heavy and some light cramps. Been trying ttc for 3 months with the help of clomid, estrace and prometrium. Any chance this could be it for me? Waiting for bloodtest from doctor but just want some opinions. Any help is greatly appreciated

the baby at 6 months pregnant. Since we have been trying for 3 months and nothing. So my doctor gave me clomid. Will that increase my chances of conceiving?

I tested positive with my opt on cycle day 16 and then later that evening it had faded and was negative. For some odd reason I was being curious and just wanted to see what it would show up as now. I am now on cd 27 just 3 days from my period and I got a very dark positive. Even more so then I did when I ovulated this month. Could it show up positive as well if I am pregnant? If so would it be positive now on a Home Pregnancy test? Please someone reply.

me and my bf have been trying to have a baby...we have been having unprotected sex for almost 2 months now. well my last period was december 27th...lasted 7 days...and i am always pretty much on time each month. well i have yet to get my period...my boobs have been sore for over a week now. but thats normal even before i get my period. i have been getting headaches, moodiness, and some what nauseous. pregnancy tests all come out negative....the last one i took was last week. could i be pregnant?!

I just finished a cycle of follistim, lupron and ovedril. I had an IUI a week ago. I am also doing crinone suppositories nightly. I have had some "severe" cramping the last two days. My doctor tells me this is normal and is just my body ovulating, since I have never experienced this before, I was wondering if anyone else has been through the process before and had the same symptoms?
I welcome any information.
We have been ttc for 5 months and this is the farthest in the cycyle we have gotten so far!!

O.k. so this may be a silly question, but what are the chances of concieving twins when you were on Depo for 9 months and did not have your period the whole time??? I guess my question is if I didnt have a period for such a long time , when I do start ovulating agian will my body release two eggs?? I just got off birth control and was wondering how long it would take my body to start having it's normal periods again. Before I went on BC I had a 35-38 day cycle and it was normal and on time every month. Then the BC cut it down to every 24 days. When can I expect my normal cycle? Anyone have experience with this... ok heres the story. I was due for my period around the 8th of February on the 5th i got very lite spotting, first day was a red spot about the size of a half a dollar coin next day nothing then the next two days 2 little streaks of redish brown that could fit on the a half a needle. on the last day looked like someone took a brown crayon and rubbed it against my liner lightly waited till the 14th took a test and it was negitive should i have waited longer? only bloating, nausa and heartburn are my symptoms

I went off birth control in January 2006. My cycles were 30 days until December, when it switched up to 42 days. Is it possible for me to still track when I ovulate? Do I use the shorter cycle or the longer one? My husband comes home in August from deployment, so I figured if I start now I'll have it straight by then.

Ok well my cycle has been bad, I have always been irregular from day one, from the time i was 18 to 20 years old I had maybe 4 periods and one of the periods i had was caused by a progesterone challenge by my doctor 10mg for 7 days....I have had everything checked out, had every kind of test done and everything is perfect, I don't even have PCOS i'm 5'2 108lbs if that helps any....Two weeks after my last period I had spotting for two days then it stopped and again a couple days later the brown spotting started up again and it's been going on now for about 4-5 days I'm not due for my period for another 6-7 days if i even get it, I just started taking progesterone cream to see if that helps with my periods I have only been using the cream for 4 days so far..could this be why i'm having this spotting??It's not really uncommon for me since i stopped having periods for no apparent reason i would get brown spotting almost every month. hlp me out please

hi i am due on my period on the 20th i am never early or late its always a 30 day cycle, me and my partner have been trying for 2yrs and this month i used clearblue ovulation test. yesturday and today i have been having like period cramps but i no im not due on? could i be pregnate? i ovulated on the 4th of feb. just want to no if what u all think as i'll go and buy an early detection test as would b a great valentines presant for my partner!!! or will it be to early to show as 6 days till my period?

I am taking prenatal vitamins because my husband and I are TTC, my question is...can prenatals make your period heavier because of the high amount of iron in them (since iron works as a blood thinner)?? Has anyone else experianced heavier periods while taking prenatals? Thanks!

I wanted to know if during the discharge, and pain and I had sex that day and the next day there was still a clear stretchy discharge, does that mean I could have a good chance that I will get pregnant?

Last month my period came about a week and a half early...took a hpt as soon as i stopped and it came back (-)....waited about a week later and (-) again....ok, so im thinking im not pregnant, so i dont worry about it anymore....well, this month i came on my period 01/10 and it was weird from the beginning (little brighter than usual, but then got a bit heavier), but still couldnt wear a tampon because it wasnt enough bleeding for a regular flow one....then all of a sudden 01/12, my period just stops...a couple of times when i went to the bathrom yesterday it was very very light pink, but the last time i went last night it was nothing and today, it was nothing....took a hpt again and again (-)....did i test too early....have frequent urination and sore and tingly breast.

HI I am 11 days post ovulation and was issused with a poss triphasic pattern on my chart yesterday, although i am getting period cramps and very bad mood swings and very tearful (all typical signs that period on way)
