I would get a second opinion. i was on clomid for six months with nothing happening then i fell pregnant with an eptopic pregnancy. when i researched eptopic pregnancy they say that medication like clomid can increase your chances of a tubal pregnancy it may not happen. I just suggest you get as much information as possible.

Clomid makes you ovulate. Nothing more, nothing less. It doesn't increase the chances of the sperm reaching the egg, or of the fertilized egg properly implanting into the uterus, or anything else. It just makes you ovulate.

Clomid makes your body ovulate making it easier to conceieve. they start you out at 50mg...if you don't ovulate then they up it to 100mg. Your Dr should be monitoring you, and you should get a blood test every month to test progesterone levels to make sure that you ovulated.
