I just got off birth control and was wondering how long it would take my body to start having it's normal periods again. Before I went on BC I had a 35-38 day cycle and it was normal and on time every month. Then the BC cut it down to every 24 days. When can I expect my normal cycle? Anyone have experience with this... I'm 21 by the way...

My period went back to normal after just one cycle, but everybody is different. It make take two or three cycles for things to go back the way they were.

When I was 25 I went off the pill and only had 2 periods in a year. I think it took 6 months for the 1st one. Eveyone is different though. I had been on the pill for years.
