I had my period on the 7th of this month when should i start trying to get pregnant.?

My husband and i want another baby when should i start trying? My period lasted five days.I'm off of it now.

Now. Assuming you have a "normal" 28-day cycle, you should ovulate on the 21st. Sperm can live inside you for 3 to 5 days, your egg only lives for 1 day after you ovulate.

If I were you, I'd start now having sex at least every other day, and buy an ovulation predictor kit to find out when you actually do ovulate. Then keep having sex until you ovulate. Even though it only takes one sperm to get pregnant, the more of his sperm that is inside you, the more likely you are to get pregnant!

Everyone's ovulation schedule is different, but usually 10 to 18 days after your period you ovulate. So I would say this weekend and next weekend should be a great weekend for you both.

I would try between the 19th and the 26th. They say you usually ovulate 14 days after the first day of your period. Try one of those ovulation test strips you can get at the pharmacy. Good Luck!!
