Trying to Conceive - October 2006

If you keep track of your periods and your fertile/ovulation days and you had sex on them days did you become pregnant?
I am not saying will you..I am asking you all did you?

Did you have sex on your fertile/ovulation days and not get pregnant?

I havent been on my period since the last week of July.. and last monday the 16th and the today the 23rd..you see today i started and i was bleeding ( not a lot)and it was a brown color and hurting .And tonight im not bleeding at all.... Anyways.. does anyone know what could be wrong with me?

its been 6 days since i last had sex with my husband. It was a day before ovulation. has any1 ever had backpain early in pregnancy??
it could be that my period is coming, but im just curiouse to know about other mothers experiences with pregnancy and finding out, and symptoms..i also had this wierd taste in my mouth.

help my daughter who is 16 is pregnant with my second grandchild what do i do ?my daughter moved into her grandmothers home when she became pregnant at 14 i wasn''t ready to accept becoming a grandmother at 32 well now that i've been getting back into my daughter's and granddaughter's life she breaks the news to me that there's another one on the way i'm only 35 and my husband and i have been concidering on another baby since are youngest is 4 now,except now i don't know if i should go ahesd and get pregnant now that my daughter is,do i stop my life and become grandma all the way or is it possible yo still have another one of my own what would you do?i'm feeling very old and depressed now,to top that off i'm even becoming a great aunt from my neice.

I want to start by saying I know none of you are doctors, I just want comments from personal experience of knowledge.We are TTC. Me and my fiance had sex 2 days before ovulation. I have started to have tender breast, more discharge, upset stomach but no vomit, very tired, and bloating. My period is now 4 days late. I know that I need to take a test but my fiance works out of town and wants me to wait until he gets home to test. So I just wanted to know from your experience do you think that I have good chances of being pregnant? Please nice answers only. I know that I need to take a test and go to the doctor I am waiting for my fiance. I just want opinions. Please. And thank you in advance.

Hubby and I are ttc...second month of trying. Its my most fert. week so we have been trying on a reg basis. Different positions too. I was wondering if the "doggy style" can get you pregnant. I know missionary is said to be best. thanks!

Hello... So apparently I'm not pregnant... I guess... But I'm still over two weeks late... I have a doc appt on Frieday to see whats up... But I was just curious if anyone knows if you miss a period... Will you still ovulate that cycle like you would if you had your period?... I have been chating and think I am going to... I know that if you have intercourse the night before or day of ovulation you are probably going to have a boy given the Shettles method, but what if you had intercourse three and four days also before your ovulation day. Do you think that there is a slightly higher chance of having a girl even though we had intercourse the night before ovulation also. I guess the girls are heartier than the boys and they were probably waiting around for the egg, but maybe the boys from last night got to the egg first also???

My uterus is tilted backwards, so I am curious is there any specific position that would help inpregnat? Are there any suggestions on viatmins? I had a period on Sept 22-24th which was on time but it was lighter than normal..was supposed to ovulate on the 6th...i had sex that day. I have yet to have a period this month, my breast (especially around the nipples) hurt when touched and i am tired all the time, i have been having some light cramps as well. could i be pregnant? period was due on the 20th!!!!!

Me and my partner have decided to try for a baby. I have been on the pill for 10 months. I am taking ovcon 50. I was wondering how long after i stop taking the pills will i get prego? I have heard it can take awile. does anybody have any experiance with this? Thanks for the advice!

I stopped the pill on the 6th of October and got my period on the 11th of October. My period stopped on the 16th of October. I think I was Ovulating between the 21st of october and the 27th of October and I had sex last night and on saturday and he ejaculated in me. If I have sex on wednesday am I doing the right thing?. Would my chances of becoming pregnant higher?. Even though I stopped taking the pill I have been getting the normal discharge and I think I am fertile!.

Well, im 21 years old, and ive been a lesbians all my life. Me and my life partner have tried to understand why ive been so horny lately and desided it's cause im in heat (so to speak) and that my body is wanting to have a child. I was diagnosed with gestostial diabetes with my daughter but took no medication, 4 years after her birth diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, took medicane for 1 year but I no longer have to.Just have to watch what I eat and exercise. I now want to have another baby just wondreing if it's safe for me, don't want to die giving birth!

My husband and I are getting pregnant in February, and I'll be checking my LH levels, taking temerature and whatnot. I'm sure I ovulate 14 days after my first day, (checking my secretions) but a cycle is considered first day bleeding through next first day, correct? Thanks.
