My fiance and I have been TTC for just about a year now, we chart and temp and succeeded but I unfortunately had a miscarriage a few months ago. We are still trying and right now waiting, my period is due in a couple of days and we are hoping it "doesn't come".
But like someone else said the chances of becoming pregnant in a month are less then 20%. Here's a site that helps to explain it more.

Well when my Husband decided that it was time to have a baby, he went on the computer at work and looked at when I would be ovulating. Now, I didn't know he was doing this, I didn't even know when I would be ovulating. I guess he knew my body better than I did. (LOL) Well, 2 days before I ovulated he **** in me, and then I waited till I was a day late on my period and took a HPT, and sure enough I was pregnant. I had a beautiful little girl who is now 3 years old. So, yes some people do get pregnant right when they ovulate and some people don't. Everybody is different, and I wish you the best of luck.

Ask me in about 3 weeks. :-)

My hubby and I decided to start trying last month. I have been off the pill for about 4 years - and we know we're both fertile.

I made the mistake last month of thinking my cycle was 28 days - so the ovulation day was out. My cycle is actualy between 25-26 days so this week is GO TIME! I was all excited last month thinking we'd done it - even imagined I had symptoms. Anyway, missed the boat completely.

We're pretty certain it will work this month *fingers crossed*

I have been trying for a baby for 4 years. I have kept track of my periods the whole time and had sex each time I was "supposed to"

I have fallen pregnant twice during that time (but lead to miscarriage) Hard to elaborate more when i dont know why you are asking the question.

My husband and I have been trying for about 11 months now, and still have not gotten pregnant. It only took us 4 months with our daughter.

My doctor just put us on Clomid to see if that helps, so even though we chart and have sex on my most fertile days, sometimes that just isn't enough!

Yes, I kept track of my cycle including my ovulation days. I had intercourse and IUI on my fertile days. Three years later, it still hasn't worked.

of course not every woman gets pregnant even if everything is perfect you still only have a 20% chance of pregnancy each month and with age it decreases good luck
