Trying to Conceive - June 2006

i had sex a week ago. i took a pregnancy test today and it was negative. is it to early or am i just not pregnant? i dont have any symptoms except being tired and hungry all the time. what are the chances that i can get pregnant? i had an abortion when i was 16 im 20 now. can that affect my chances? please help.

The digital part said "not pregnant" but when I took the stick out there was one blue line and another faint blue line to the left of it. Was it just too light to register? Does that mean the same thing as a regular preg test? I am two days after missed period. Helpful advice please but if you have some witty, funny thing to say, well I could always use a laugh.

Every month after periods are over and after having unprotected sex with my husband , i try to find symptoms in me thinking that i am pregnant. I keep checking whether there are any changes in my breasts..i think my appetite is increased and every month i feel that i am definitely pregnant this time. But at the end when menstrual cycle starts i get very disappointed .This has been going on since last 6 months.

They have been married three years and my friend wants a baby soo bad. She would be such a good mother and they both could afford it. He is being very unreasonable about it and selfish, in my humble opinion and I just feel so bad for her. Any suggestions as to what she could say to him or how she could persuade him. They don't use birth control, except the "withdrawl" method, I don't know how much of a chance there is of getting pregnant thru that.

according to the ovulation calculator. my ovulation day is 5/30/06. i had sex though on 5/26-5/29 & 5/31-6/1. do you think i can still get pregnant? although i did not have sex on the ovulation day?

My question is about cervical mucus. On thursday i noticed the stretchy cm, then sunday i noticed it was slippery. Does this mean I ovulated Thrusday, Sunday or one of the days in between? I know every women is different but I'm just wondering what is most likley.

Her and I have been through 3-4 different episodes of having all the pregnancy signs, and think she is pregnant. Symptoms have included sudden appitite change, sudden change in foods liked/disliked, sharp pains in stomach (where she says are her ovaries), mood swings extreme when no period, constant water intake and urination. We have also gotten entimate with eachother during her period (i know, not every couple does this b/c of fear of blood) and occassionally would have sex at beginning of period. Some reason or another, when this happens, her period ends 2-3 days early, and a week later those symptoms show up, as if she's pregnant. 3 months ago, we took 3 home test in 6 days, 1st 2 were negative, 3rd positive. a day or so later, Dr office test said negative, and continued to be negative. I'm wondering if tobacco could be effecting her chances, she does smoke, though against my wishes. I let her, i don't want to control her, but she knows I'd like her to stop. Any opinions, please.

I just has a miscarriage/D&C ( 1 week ago) due to what the doctor said was a blighted ovum. Is it normal to be so depressed and cry at the drop of a hat? I wanted my baby very much and the news was very hard for me to take. Also, if any of you had a miscarriage, how long did it take you to get pregnant again? My doctor told me to wait a month before we try again... that seems like an eternity.

My husband and I have been trying to concieve on and off for about a year and a half. It has been a real emotional struggle and on this past mothers day they were acknowleding mothers at our church and it was hard to watch. They had the sweet songs playing and the whole bit. I was there with my mom and we both started crying. I feel that she was crying because she feels bad for me too but i also feel that she is taking it toward her to blame. I don't want to hurt any more and I don't want other to people to feel bad for something that God has not blessed my life with yet. Please, do you have any advice?

Anyone else out there also on this method and pregnant? My wife and I are using this method, and we think that we may be pregnant; my wife has experienced a change in her CM. The change being that there is none, we’ve been on this method for over 10 months, and this is the first time it’s stopped before it should, she hasn’t gone to the doctor yet cause she hasn’t missed her period yet, but I was wondering. If anyone else on this method who has experienced the same thing, and if so did you end up being pregnant?

The first day of my last period was May 31. It lasted 5 days.
I charte cp, cm and bbt. My cp was in the medium and slightly open position. It was also kind of soft, but not all the way. When should we have sex? Should we start today or wait until it's in the high position? My cm is still somewhat watery and clear. Please help, I really want to get pregnant this month?!
