Pregnancy - December 2006

Alright heres the deal. Me and my husband have been trying to have a baby for 5 months. I think we have succeded lol. I took a preganacy test over the weekend and got a faint postive, I know any postive is correct, but heres my question. I dont go to the doctor till the 10th of January I have all the sympothms of pregnancy, throwing up, lower back pain swollen and tender breasts, tired all day long no matter how much sleep i get. Does this all sound like the test is correct? I guess you can just say I dont belive its true that im pregnant even though i feel like I am. My last period was on the 12th of decemeber.

I was supposed to start my period on christmas eve and haven't started yet. my fiance and i are ttc i ovulated on the 10th and had unprotected sex on the 9th...i am not having any of my usual signs that my period is coming. I have noticed that my nipples are sticking out and turned darker plus the skin around them has little bumps on it, i am tired more than usual and i seem to be peeing more than normal. what cold this mean?

Even if you know that the father will be a great dad, some girls and even full grown "women" feel they're the only ones who can make the decision.
i just don't get it.

the father has a dam right to know and help make the decisions with anything that involves HIS child.

they both made the baby, they should both be adult enough to decide what's going to happen.
and she should be WOMAN enough to confront him about it.

IF HE'S SUCH AN ABUSIVE/ALCAHOLIC MAN, WHY WERE YOU WITH HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE?????????

MMMMMMMMM...to get pregnant???

It mite be her body but the baby is both of their's not just her's
And where i live the women must have the father's signature before they can have abortion?

Hi, just got out of bed Im so worried about this. Not a question more want advice/an ear. Take the pill religiously but had a bit of bad tummy - throwing up only like twice tho, last month. I'm over 2weeks late, which is V. unusual for me. Already got 2 fab children, I mean I would have a third if I am preg but pill leaflet says minipill can cause limb defects etc. in foetus, other damage etc. Now I've started to worry, don't think I could carry on preg. My partner can't handle upsetting things. He gets snappy, very hard to deal with at all. Drinks too much, picks little arguments etc. Don't want to worry him unnecessarily

Going to do a test tomorow I've decided but pill box says discuss with GP about carrying on with such a pregnancy. No one to talk to, sadly can't trust any family etc. not to gossip. I'm thinking if am preg, do I wait for 3mth scan, see if alls well, keep quiet and hang out for 20wk scan? I don't show much hiding it's not a prob. Anybody had any exper. like this?

ok let me tell you that i have a hard time with spelling so no saying bad things on that
i am 36 weeks prego and i have non stop pain in my back and its so hard to sleep and when i do sleep i dream no stop of her coming on dec 30 ( her due date is jan 19) and she has not bin kicking as much and realy only up when i am sleeping and i was just wondering has any one fealt this and if you think my baby is gonna come early?

I went and got an ultrasound at 18 weeks the baby measured 18 weeks. I was told at 18 you are really 16 so is that the same for the ultrasound measurements? If so did I concieve 2 weeks after my period? Sorry this stuff just confusses me. I do plan on asking my midwife just wanted to know your thoughts. Thanks

I’m 26 years old, used no form of protection, no birth control, no condoms and my boyfriend came in me 3 days ago. A one time thing. What are my odds of being pregnant? My last period ended about a week and a half ago. I know I’m going to have to wait until I have, or don’t have a period in order to really know...but should I realistically be worried? Numerous sources that have tried to get pregnant tell me it’s a tough thing to do and to not worry. (I’m not trying to get pregnant) I want to go out and have a few drinks for new years and enjoy, but if there is a high probability of me being pregnant I will definitely reconsider. If anyone has any info it would greatly be appreciated. :)

I'm 27 weeks pregnant. Two nights ago, I woke up from pain! For what seemed like an hour, but was probably only 15 minutes, ;) I felt a strange pain/pressure/cramp feeling all through my lower stomach area. After about 15 minutes it went away, but the next day I still had a little soreness on my left side like I had "pulled an ovary." Ha, I know that doesn't make sense, but hopefully it helps you to understand what I felt.

If I were worried about this then I'd call my OB, but I'm not. I'm just curious. I know my baby WAS transverse, head to the right. Do you think maybe that was just pain as he was changing positions? I'd love to have an ultrasound right now just to see! I'm not one who can feel through my belly and tell where the head is. The u/s tech told me at 20 weeks that my placenta is in the front. I assume that's why I can't feel those things.

I got a negative home pregnancy test and a positive one. Considering that the positive one is more sensitive I called my Dr. She's not an OB/GYN. Though she will order a blood test. I was wondering how sensitive blood tests are and what to expect when I see her. Do I take the positive test with me?

okay i still havent gotten my period and its almost 3.5 weeks! and well today i went to a doctor here in el salvador and well they took a blood pregnacy test and it came out negative so what could it be? this has never happened before not even when i was really stressed out so what could this be? i kinda do want to have a baby but how can i get pregnant if i dont get my period?

Ok im 16 years old and im 7 weeks pregnant. I haven't been able to keep down alot of food and i've lost 10lbs. Before i got pregnant i was 120 afterwards i went up to 130 and dropped it in a week. I keep hydrated with Gaterade and ginger ale. I also eat as much as i can before throwing it up. Is my baby gunna die from this? Is there anything i can do? My 1st prenantal app isn't till January 8, 2007 Please help me im scared.

i just had a cesarean 8 months back and am pregnant again 2 months would liket o know what are the risks involved ? for me and the baby... as my doc says as its a high risk pregnancy and there are chances for the uterus to tear open... pls advice am confused if its better if i carry on with the pregnancy or i get an abortions ...

iam pregnant with second child and i don't think iam going to keep it b/c i can't handle it ones too much as it is..it's a hard to explain what's going on.but me and the father of my frist child broke up and i got with a new guy but the thing is i was pregnant before i left no knowing at frist but then once i ended it with the new guy he went around telling people i was pregnet with his kid knowing it wasn't.know iam back with my first childs father and we don't talk about it i know he knows i have a big belly and iam usally a size 7..is giving the baby up a good idea..no one else knows.i really don't think i could handle another one.him either.help me iam due anyday and i just want to get it over with and live my life the way it was iam only 21 i can't tell anyone i've allready went this long why say know.

My cycle is a bit irregular, but has been 27-29 days consistently. I had a miscarriage in october and my cycle was 35 days in length (that month) due to low hormone. The next cycle was again 34 days in in length. This month, the cycle is now 41 days; it has never in my life been that long. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I have some pregnancy symptoms, but not all. What are the chances this is a false negative due to low hormone again???

And I did go to my doctor last week, she said that i should either be getting a positive pregnancy test or my period in 48 hours and neither happened!

What should I do?

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on the 14 and 15 of septmeber. We broke up and I had a kind of drunken moment with a mate on the 17. He used a condom but I felt a bit wet after and checked the condom but it didnt seem to be leaking. There was no penetration or anything before it was put on, but my ovulation date was around the 17. with all that who do you think the father would be? Me and my boyfriend have since gotten back together and I dont know what to say.

I am 9 weeks and 6 days pregnant. I had really bad morning sickness and the thought of certain food would make me sick. All of a sudden all the symptoms are gone. I thought this was not supposed to happen till I was 12 weeks. I don't even feel like I am pregnant any more. Is this normal? Should I be concerned? I feel great just tired.
