even if you know that the father will be a great dad, some girls and even full grown "women" feel they're the only ones who can make the decision.
i just don't get it.
the father has the right to know and help make the decisions with anything that involves HIS child.

they both made the baby, they should both be adult enough to decide what's going to happen.
and she should be WOMAN enough to confront him about it.

I agree too.
For what it is worth my brothers ex secretly had an abortion when she was 4 months along or so. And when my brother found out that she had been pregnant without telling him and didn't let him voice his opinion first before the abortion, he was devastated. Completely heart broken for his unborn baby. He would have raised him himself if given the choice.

There is a reason that a woman takes charge when it comes to the decision. Yes it would be fair to include the father in the decision, but ultimately it is the woman's body that has to carry the baby and to give birth. No person has a right to make a decision about another's body.

I feel that it is not right to hide a pregnancy from the father. It takes two to tango and I believe that a father should be held responsible for his actions.
Women i think forget because they´re the ones carrying the child for nine months,

You are completely correct. I think that all circumstances differ, but if the man is a responsible man, there should be no reason why the woman/girl should not make him part of any and all decisions relating to the unborn child.
That is the reason why men need to make sure that "they" protect themselves and "they" avoid getting a girl/woman pregnant because of women/girls like these. Many men rely on a woman to protect herself and I as a mother of a son, always told my son, you trust no woman but yourself. Because one never knows what a woman/girl is capable of., and you will always be responsible for your own actions.

um, because he Doesn't have a right to know. It is up to a woman to tell him.
Think about this: A woman has a history of failed pregnancies: miscarriage, still-born, or other situations. Most women don't want to tell anyone because it is painful to loose a child, and it's even worse to have to tell others.
Even if that situation doesn't apply, since you are using the term "biological father" this indicates to me that the couple is either a) no longer, or never was a couple or b) is a couple and isn't married. So in either scenario there is no full on commitment between the two, so why would she want to tell him, especially if he is the type who would right off just suggest she gets an abortion? There are tons of factors to consider.
****this dumb chick just wants people to stroke her ego and agree with her, she of course has been harassing me all day with emails because I responded with an answer of something she doesn't want to hear, and then decides to call me a dye, as if this is somehow an insult****

You know, I think that the only reason is due to the character of the biological father and the circumstances surrounding the pregnancy. I once a had a girlfriend whose husband was really abusive to her, and she hid her pregnancy from him while she was trying to get away. It could be a sticky situation, you are in. But otherwise, I have never met anyone who "wanted" to keep their pregnancy a secret from the biological father. On the contrary!

I would never do that. I feel the father has the right to know. I don't agree however the father has the decision to terminate the pregnancy. I think that should be up to the woman.

I think it has to do with the fact that they are the ones having the baby, but i don't think it is right for women to hide the pregnancy...unless the father is a totally abusive jerk. I don't understand them either. Kind of like those women who are a "little bit" pregnant, and then poof they had a "miscarriage". I think women like that give all of us a bad name. If you ever figure it out please let me know.

I agree with you completely. I have no idea why a woman wouldn't tell the bio-father. If I was in her shoes, the bio-father would be the FIRST to know! That just doesn't make sense... yet it happens ALL the time.

In theory, I agree. But naturally this wouldn't be a problem if people stopped having children out of wedlock, with random men/women they don't communicate with-- it's 2007 ladies- plenty of birth control options in these modern times. If a woman in today's society can't manage to prevent herself from getting pregnant (duh- it's not that difficult) then why expect her to do the right thing after the fact?
