I got a negative home pregnancy test and a positive one. Considering that the positive one is more sensitive I called my Dr. She's not an OB/GYN. Though she will order a blood test. I was wondering how sensitive blood tests are and what to expect when I see her. Do I take the positive test with me?

their going to draw blood and tell you in a day or so the results. the blood test is very sensitive, like 7-10 days after you conceived.

I would start from scratch and not take the positive one with you. Blood test can be sensitive as well, but take the test and don't think about the home test.

If your doctor will do a pregnancy test, that's all you need. They are more reliable than the home tests, and you should not rely on a home test after (I think) 24 hours. If you read the instrcutions, it will prebably tell you to discard the test after so many X hours.

Blood tends to show up before urine. No my clinic had to send the blood out and you get a call in a day or two.
