Pregnancy - November 2006

I am 4 months pregnant and I am very small framed. I am pretty sure I have felt the baby move. It feels like someone is thumping me lightly from the inside. I am pretty sure it is the baby when it is around my belly button but when it is somewhere else I think it is maybe just gas. At 4 months how big of an area could you feel the baby move?

I was the girl a few weeks ago who asked if my constant cold (asthma) attacks could be a sign or pregnancy. Thank You to all of those who answered from your heart. Im 5 weeks gone an i only found out yesterday. I want to keep my child as it a gift that so many people want. I feel lucky and happy now ive come ot terms with it.
My parents want the best 4 me always pushing me 2 do my best at college and get a good job get a car and all that. They have said to me that their worst nightmare is for me 2 get pregant now and i am. :-s

Is it true that first borns usually weight less than later siblings because they have no umbilical cord to eat? When my sister had her first child her obgyn advised her to keep the umbilical cord from her first pregnancy at home in her freezer so that if she decides to become pregnant again she can just reinsert it back into her uterus so that her next child will have something to feed off of. She keeps the old umbilical cord at home in her freezer and she is going to reinsert it herself when she decies to have her next child. Did any of you try this method and does it really help the next child in feeding?

Okay so here is the situation. I am 34 weeks pregnant. My hospital is half an hour away from where I live. (The hospital here is very dirty and just generally not good. Everyone here goes to a Dallas hospital if they can make it.) My husband works 12 hour shifts. I want to stay with my Mom the last couple weeks of my pregnancy (she lives closer to the hospital and she will always be with me.) So my questions is "What is the appropriate amount of time to stay with her that is being safe for me and the baby but not long enough to annoy her?" Considering I don't go into labor early. How long is too long? 3 weeks? 2 weeks? I just don't want us to get sick of each other. Plus my husband will be working so I will be away from him while I am at my Mom's.

I think that I might be pregnant. I have been on birth control pills for about 4 years. I am not expecting to miss a period for about another week and a half, so I can't take a test until at least 5 days before. But I am experiencing alot of symptoms; nauseau, vomiting, mood swings, crying, etc.

Should I stop taking my birth control pills? My husband thinks I should. If I am pregnant, I'm afraid it might cause a miscarriage or something.

But, if I'm not, I don't want to stop taking the pills for no reason either. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

hi i am just wondering wat everyone thinks about teenage pregnany. coz i know so many teenagers with baby's and i thinkin one way it isnt so good but in another it is kinda gwd because they r living up to thier responsabilities. they got pregnant coz they had sex and they kept the baby...... i reckon its a lot easier just to get pregnant and have a abortion then keep it. so i rekon we should give sum credit to sum of the teens. wat do you say????

im 6 months pregnant and i eat normally i get very hungry 2 hours after meals i snack on things like crakers,fruits etc. i eat low fat meals no fried i dont eat ice cream i eat a muffin in the morning or pop tart. but it seems im gaining alot of weight says my doctor ive gained 17 lbs in 4 weeks .. i go walking but now she is telling me to speed walk about a mile or so a day. what should i do??? how would i keep myself from gaining so much?? is there any exercises i can do in the house also???

I am 4 days late on my period and at first i was lightly spotting brown and that lasted for about 2 days on and off. Now im not spotting anything at all!! I have to pee alot but that might be because i might have a bladder infection idk. My boobs dont hurt...I am very constipated though. i had sex with my girlfriend and i didnt wear a condom..i know stupid. but i pulled out before i came. What are the chances she is pregnant? i heard two different answers on that? and also her period is due soon does it effect her period at all bein her first time? and if she is pregnant would there be any pills to terminate the pregnancy?
