as another post says, contact your local planned parenthood. If they give you the number to a clinic, (all age and information depending) you may have to visit this clinic, there will be counselors there to discuss your options. Also you could try your local health department, in most states, walk-ins are accepted and no money is needed.

You did not mention you or your girlfriends age... I hope you can find someone to talk to about this, whether it be a church member, family member or someone to help you out, if your girlfriend does terminate it will affect her for her entire life.

You cannot get those pills over the counter, you have to be medically referred(prescribed) them.

Time is truly of the essence here, every day that fetus is forming.

Have you considered adoption?

Best of luck to you and your girlfriend, you are both going down a hard road right now, this is a decision that should not be taken lightly. Weigh all your options. Do whats right for YOUR LIVES.

The pill is technically known as RU486. It is only effective a few days after unprotected sex. It is a super dose of hormones taken 12 hours apart. They make you feel ill and nauseous. It is to prevent implantation of a fertilized egg, not as an abortion method. They are available at any local health clinic. They are meant for emergency contraception, like a broken condom...not just to be there so you can be careless and reckless.

In my state, you can go to your pharmacy and ask for the day after pill. I do not know if this works on pregnancy longer than a few weeks along.
I think it would be best to go to Planned Parenthood and see what your options are. I wish you both happiness. You have some hard decisions to make, and you both need to heal.

May I suggest adoption instead of pills? There are long term emotional as well as physical affects of any abortion that you will have to deal with. They are much worse than pregnancy and you will have them for the rest of your life. There are many people who would love to have your baby and would be happy to take care of the expenses. Please do not end this baby's life. There are better alternatives than pills. You can go to www.crisispregnancy.org and they will be glad to help you find adoptive parents for your child

That is just terrible that you would want to do that. How come you guys didn't use protection? Life is precious, even the life that is yet to come. How would both of you feel if you found out your parents wanted to abort you? I think that's very sad and I will pray for you both. I hope that you think this through before actually doing it. You're not giving this baby a chance. It's murder and you both will stand before God one day and give an account of your actions.

they are called ru486 and you can only take them if you are less than 7 or 10 weeks i forgot you should do research about it but i suggest you should really sit down and think about it with your girlfriend and it is something you both really want because it will affect both of you, maybe not as much you than her but try to work it out

Yes you could. I do not know the scientific name of it, but it is known as the abortion pill.

Make sure you tell them you are NOT looking for Plan B, but that you are looking for the actual abortion pill.

And NO birth control pills are not abortion pills. They are contraceptive pills.

Yes, birth control pills can. But you'll have to ask a professional about when to start taking and for how long.
