I think that I might be pregnant. I have been on birth control pills for about 4 years. I am not expecting to miss a period for about another week and a half, so I can't take a test until at least 5 days before. But I am experiencing alot of symptoms; nauseau, vomiting, mood swings, crying, etc.

Should I stop taking my birth control pills? My husband thinks I should. If I am pregnant, I'm afraid it might cause a miscarriage or something.

But, if I'm not, I don't want to stop taking the pills for no reason either. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

As you are concerned stop taking the pills go straight to Dr /Hopsital and state your concerns (they should be willing to help and will be able to do a test) and I believe you are able to take a pregnancy test now (If I were you I would just in case) if it's negative still go to Dr's if it's positive then you most probably are pregnant (you hardly ever get a fals positive) And if it turns out you are Congratz!!

I got pregnant while on the pill. I just knew I was pregnant. Didnt have any nausea or vomiting. I did feel like I was about to have a period so I wasnt really sure. But in the back of my mind I knew I was. I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks. My dr. just did a blood test and I started my prenatal vitamins the same day and stopped my BC pills also. But I had my son 8 weeks early. Had nothing to do with the pills. But he is big and strong for being early. Good luck and if you are pregnant Congratulations!

I think it is very unlikely that you're pregnant, unless you have missed some pills. Don't stop taking the pills. Call the doctor who prescribed the pills immediately and explain your symptoms. The doctor will be able to give you better advice.

if you are pregnant a week and a half of pills wont hurt the baby. go see your Dr. if you feel you are pregnant. they can do a blood test it can detect pregnancy much earlier then a home test.

go to your OB, a blood test can be done this early to see if you are. Also, I used a clear blue easy digital home pregnancy test & got a positive 7 days prior to my expected period.
