Ever hear of birth control? Having a baby is not a novelty item that you put in the drawer when you get bored like with a doll. It is a LIFE TIME commitment. So much for the preaching. Invite your boyfriend to dinner at your house and tell your parents together as soon as possible. You would be surprised at how supportive loving parents can be at a time like this. Good luck future mommy.

Mom, Dad, I am 5 weeks pregnant, I need your help not your "I told you". Keeping this baby is the only option. I am regnant now and I cannot change that so, do I have your support or what?

Be very calm, do not scream, because that is a sign of immatutity, just be calm, even if they get mad and yell at you and stuff BE CALM. The worst thing that canhappen is that they don't support you but time will change their minds. Who does not want to be a grandma or grandpa? TRUST ME.

I was in this exact predicament 25 years ago. I was 17 and pregnant with my son. I arranged for my 15 y.o. sister to be out for the night and I told my parents at the dinner table. My dad didn't speak and my mom kept saying I was going to get an abortion. I told them that I had decided I was going to keep the baby and if I had considered an abortion I would never had told them I was pregnant.
My mom and dad were both there for the birth as well as my son's dad and 25 years later, my son is my mom's favorite ;o)
It will work out and even though it's hard now, it won't be soon.
Blessings and Good Luck to you!

First, take a few breaths. Stress is not good. Before you tell your parents make provisions for a place to stay just in case. A lot of girls think they will get kicked out "IF" but, they are surprised in how the parents do take it. Go to your local CPC and tell them your situation. They can start contacts to shelter just in case you need it. When all this is taken care of, stand your ground and tell your parents.

All you can do it just tell them. I dont know why they would kick you out. I would never kick out my daughter if i found out she was pregnant. I wouldnt be happy at first, but I would never tell her to get rid of it or kick her out. Maybe they wont react as badly as you are thinking. Usually we think of the worst thing that can happen and it usually isnt as bad as we think. Im so glad you are going to keep the baby. Good luck to you and I hope things go well.

Being pregnant isn't the end of the world, you can still finish collage. Most collages have child care on campus, look into it.
Now for your parents, they will be shocked, so give the information to them carefully, let them know you have thought about this and have made plans to finish school and have found child care.
Best of luck to you.

Umm, ok just tell them because they will find out sooner or later. I am 20 and have a 10 month old and I am back in college for nursing, yes it is hard but when I had her it put my life in perspective for me. anyways having a baby does not mean you have to drop your dreams, all it means is you have to put them on hold and then work 50 times harder to get were you want. But, if you are old enough to have sex than you are old enough to take care of responsibilities.

Good Luck!!
