Pregnancy - November 2006

My back has SERIOUSLY been killing me since I have been pregnant. When I sneeze, cough, or even laugh real hard I get sharp intense pains driving up my back! Are there any ways to help the pain (other than pain relievers) that are pregnancy safe. Maybe a little excersize or ANYTHING really, but it has just gotten really bad and I am only 21 weeks! Please HELP!!!

I've lost my mucous plug, I'm at least 2 cm and 50% effaced. Baby's in position.

Last night I thought my water broke, but I don't think it did... I'm not sure what to look for! I was going pee and all of a sudden, I thought I was through, but a big gush came out and it kind of hurt, but then no more since then, just a bunch of crampy feelings and contractions, and some low back pain. I think maybe the baby kicked while I was going??

What does it feel like when water breaks?

And, since this happened last night (about midnight thirty) and it's around 4 pm now, I'm probably not in labor yet right?

I have a doc's appt on Monday morning...

can anyone tell me if when you first fall pregnant and your breasts are tender, does the tenderness fade or get stronger. Also is it normal to have the feeling of a period without having a period.

My due date is tomorrow but my birthday is today I'd like to try and have the baby today. I've had small labor pains but nothing to send me to the hospital yet.

I am 38 weeks and 5 days.
I am 2cm dilated, 70% effaced.
I already lost my mucous plug like 5 days ago.

Does this mean I will have the baby soon?

The doctor said my cervex is thinning but I don't want to have to be induced is this normal.

took a pregnancy test that came out positive... But these are the wierd things happening...

1. It hurts when I walk or go to the bathroom...
2. Constant abdominal pain from side to side
3. Shoulder pain
4. Stress
5. Usually when I am pregnant I spot, I have not had a period in 1 month in a half, nor have I spotted
6. Nausea, but it isnt as bad as it was.
7. Dizziness
8. White Thick discharge

I am only 6 weeks pregnant, so therefore I should still have "morning sickness", but the "morning sickness" symptons are starting to disapear slowly. I have been pregnant before, but all 3 of my pregnancies were not like this one... In fact I didn't get sick with my other pregnancies, nor did I have these symptoms. Should I be worried? Am I still pregnant or did I have a miscarriage?

I am almost 14 weeks. Doc has already confirmed extremely healthy preg and baby, In my first trimester I lost 15lbs to morning sickness, and now that phase is over I was wondering when I would start gaining. I am small anyway, 6" 145lbs. Just want to know what to expect. Excited about my baby and want it to be healthy healthy healthy! Thanks!

Hi everyone, I am at least 41 weeks pregnant, although something tells me it has been longer than that according to when I believe I conceived. Doc tells me that if nothing by Tuesday, she will induce. Lost my mucous plug yesterday (I think) but there is still leakage? I have been noticing reduced fetal movement in the last couple of days and am really worried. I had an appointment yesterday and they tell me everything is fine but something tells me it isnt. Who should I call, what should I do? I need some courage and ideas about what to do. PLEASE HELP!!! thanks!!

My little sister is pregnant. Her doctor recommended that she go out and buy an umbilical cord for the baby to feed off of but "wasn't at liberty" to tell her where to buy one. She wants to try to find one that isn't too old and is still sanitary so that she can insert it into her uterus without any problems. Is there a cheap place on line or a Best Buy where she can buy one that is sanitary for the unborn baby?? Help please!

about 3 months ago my bf and i had sex and i wasn't on the pill and he forgot to put on a condom which was in his back pocket i have taken 3 pt's and they came back with a yes i would like to get a blood test but i don't know how to tell my mom. she doesn't like the guy to begin with and she can be really mean. i eat all the time now i throw at least 3 times every morning i told my bf that i thought i was pregnant when i skiped for the first time and he broke up with me like 3 weeks later i'm having a really hard time with this and i'm really scared!!! so the more help the better!!

With my first one I was put to sleep right after the baby came out. Now I have a sceduled CS and was wondering how the whole process felt...can you even feel anything? cause it kinda hurt when they took my son out.

I have never sneezed alot in my whole life (except with a cold) but since this baby came along in my tummy I have been sneezing 3-4 times consecutively almost 3 times a day? But i don't have any allergies.... and i haven't started experiencing any other allergy symptoms could they be related?
