LAST NIGHT MY FEET AND ANKLES WERE SWOLLEN SO MUCH THAT I DIDNT HAVE AN ANKLE... NEVER HAD THIS BEFORE. THIS AFTERNOON WHEN I WOKE UP MY HANDS WERE SWOLLEN AS WELL. I STAYED OFF MY FEEL ALL DAY BECAUSE I WAS SLEEPING AND IM STILL SWOLEN AND IM WONDERING IF THIS IS NORMAL. IT HURTS TO STAND ON MY FEET AND MY WRISTS HURT WHEN I BEND THEM. IM JUST WONDERING IF THIS IS NORMAL SWELLING FROM BEING PREGNANT OR SOMETHING I SHOULD WORRY ABOUT.

i called the dr today in a lot of pain...she said it sounded like i might be getting ready to go into labor i am around 37 weeks...to go to the hospital and get checked out. i waited in the waiting room for 3 hours cause they had no beds available...by the time i was being checked out i was having frequent contractions and 3 cm dialated...they sent me home after a few hours because my cervix wasnt moving and they had 3 more patients ready to pop the baby out they needed the beds...so i have been home now for a few hours but the contractions seem to have gotten not as strong. my husband me and my daughter went for a walk then my husband and i had sex...to try to pump them back up because obviously i want this over with. then i took a warm bath...but things still seem pretty much the same. do i still have days or weeks to be anticipating this thing or what?? i want this baby out yesterday and i dont know if i can take much more. please help

I know to some people this will sound like a dumb question, and if it does, please don't respond. The way birth control works is that it makes the body think that it's pregnant so that you don't ovulate. Right? That is what I have heard. And if that's the case, why do we have to have a period at all if we don't have a egg to get rid of?

I had a baby eight months ago who I am still breast feed my period hasnt come on since before conception so it will be two years in january, UI have been haveng unprotected sex with my husband ,the only method we use is breast feeding and pulling out but I noticed my stomach rising a little? Ok. i expexted my period on the 24 of september, i got spotting on the 20-23 of september . today is the 27 of september and iv taken 3 pregnancy tests with all 3 saying negative ,i also went to the walk in clinic and they gave me a urine test that also said negative. i feel so so bloaded up, im eating more, my boobs r hurting me, im also getting some cramps.my whole body just feels so different . could i still be pregnant even though all 4 tests say im not pregnant.is it possioble ,i;v only missed my period 1 time that was when i was pregnant with my daughter .

Recently I have become ill and my dr. sent me home stating "act as if you are pregnant, because if you are it is not showing on a urine test." I have alot to my story, but I have been sick off and on, I had really bad nausea for like 9 or 10 weeks and its just now settling down, I can sorta eat more now, but i still get sick on occasion. I go to another doctor the 6th but I just cant stop worring about whats wrong.

My cousin is 9 months pregnant and they found protein in her urine. She has been retaining fluid her entire pregnancy and her blood pressure is constantly high. She doesn't ask questions that she should while she is there.
From what I have heard this is Toxemia. Has anyone had Toxemia while pregnant? What can happen to the mother or the baby if she gets Toxemia this late in pregnancy?
She already has some things against her. The baby has a 2 vessel cord, thin placenta, and this. She has been to a specialist, but he told her the placenta was fine for now (that was 2-3 months ago). I know some of these are signs of Trisomy 18, but the doctor has never told her anything about the outcome of these problems. Can they tell if a baby has Trisomy 18 from a sonogram?

They always say you shouldn't lift heavy things or work to hard while your pregnant. What happens if you do? I am 7 months pregnant and just wondering, somtimes I think I push myself to hard. Can this be dangerous to the baby or just for me? Cause I notice I get cramps and backaches.

so my period ended, and i had unprotected sex 3-4 days after, but we were careful. during the following week, i had brownish discharge i'm not sure if it was blood, maybe it was? it seemed more like a discharge though. i had it on and off for about 3-4 days.. and lately i've been getting gassy. am i pregnant? i havent gotten any symptoms yet, and i feel the same. i took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. i'm still worried. i don't know if i'm pregnant or not.

My ob said that I probably ovulate late in my cycle. If this is correct, could I be pregnant when I had sex on day 29 of my normally 32 day cycle? I missed my period BUT on day 39, I had light bleeding. For a period, this is NOT normal... I am usually very heavy, lots of cramps and clots. This is watery red, enough to use a pad or tampon, accompanied by slight cramps and headaches. It has been going on 48 hours now, stopping and starting again half way in between. It's getting a little more red in color, but not like it normally is. Could this is implanation bleeding? I have taken a test and it's negative. But if I haven't reached a "2 week point" since my expected ovulation day, it wouldn't come up anyways, right? Please, any answers would help.
Can anyone describe early breast tenderness? I think I may have it, but mine feel tingly, like "let-down" when breastfeeding. Is this normal?

my last period was Aug 5, so its been 53 days since my last period. i feel very fatigue, my breast/nipples hurt to touch. It's been feeling like im going to get my period for the past two weeks but i havent. Ive also been feeling very little pressure on my bladder which makes me think i have to pee and when i do pee a little comes out, i dont have a bladder infection or anything, i checked. i went to the doctor two days ago and took a urine test and it was neg. i dont have any cramping at all. ive gained about 4 pounds in the past two weeks, im the type that dont usually gain weight this fast, i was 95 pounds 6 months ago and now im 107. If i am pregnant i would be about 7 weeks almost 8. does anyone know what this could be? or any experiences? i had a pap smear september 6 and it was normal. i've been having unprotected sex every other day with my husband since august 18. Im doing a blood test tomorrow. my periods can be pretty irregular, so i can never tell. what do you think?

I am 9 Months Pregnant , I will be having my daughter soon , Up until recently I have been dealing w/ a normal situation in my life. That of aloness , My SO works offshore for 28 days at a time. This leaves me alone most of the time. I have no car , am out of reach of the bus line , and my only access to stores are through cabs. I am a NEW MOM and have no idea how I could handle any of this.
Does anyone have any suggestions ect. I have no family nor freinds in this state and my family can not make it to be here due to finances. Would fear be normal at this ?
