I am overwieght, and I have been for awhile. I did manage to loose 60 lbs in the two years before getting pregnant, and I lost another 20 in my first trimester from the morning sickness (and working where I use to work).
Getting pregnant was a miracle, and not expecting it (as we'd been together for three years and had tried) I was not covered by insurance at the time I found out.
I go to the health department for everything now, but I feel really weird about the doctor I saw last.
He told me to make sure I eat (as I had been having a lot of problems with keeping anything down). He also told me NOT to increase my excerise, to stay as active as I am until it starts to feel uncomfortable with it down the line.
Then he told me he didn't want me to gain any weight during my pregnancy... any!
Does that mean I actually need to be losing the weight my baby is naturally gaining?
This makes me uncomfortable. How could I have a nice, healthy, natural childbirth if I'm worried about weight?
