I love it for a little boy, but not for a little girl. Be careful though, since Lost is so popular right now, there have been a lot of little boys named Saywer lately. You wouldn't want your son to be one of four Sawyer's in his class!

Honestly I think it is the best name I have ever heard, up to now I liked the name Leonie for a girl and Leon for a boy......................
Got a step grandchild called Tayleigh and hate that. Good luck to you with the name Sawyer.

no, no, no.... baby will spend the rest of his or her life telling people that's the first name, not the last, and half of them will reverse it anyway.
How do I know? Because my mother, rest in peace, thought she'd be clever with my name, and I fought it for years and finally changed the damn thing when I turned 30, it was a pain in the ***.

It's a nice name, but have you heard about the book, "the adventures of Tom Saywer" and "Huckleberry Finn"?

Maybe for a boy. Definately not for a girl unless she's a lesbo.
