Well, I took 2 URINE tests at the clinic, one last week and then one this week they both came out negative but I still think I'm pregnant, I haven't been feeling myself and I've been feeling extremely sick, the nausea started when I was supposed to get my period which was yesterday, I've been showing no signs of getting it, just feeling really sick. I've been also cramping but not period cramps and having lower back pain and for some reason cold symptoms when I haven't been around people that have been sick. Could I be pregnant and should I get a blood pregnancy test just to be sure?

I don't know if your pregnant. NO ONE here knows if your pregnant. Why don't you go ask a doctor? I bet he would know.

You definitely could be "making" yourself have symptoms. If you want badly to be pregnant, your mind can often pull tricks on your body. I'd take another urine test. If you still don't get your period in a couple of weeks and the test is negative, then call your doctor and ask for a blood test. Most quality home pregnancy tests are very accurate. A lot of doctors won't even do blood pregnancy tests anymore because the urine ones are so accurate. REgardless, treat your body as if you are pregnant, so that if you are, your body is already healthy.

Maybe the urine test is uneffective at that time because you took it too early. Most people take the test two weeks after their missed period. Also, how many days do you experiencing nausea? If it last only a couple days, it's probably some kind of food poisoning. If it last more than a week you should really consider that blood test. Good luck. Take Care.

The tests that they use at the clinic are not as strong at the take home tests that you can get at the drug store. If you are not sure if you are pregnant and want to make sure, buy a test like "first response" they are actually stronger and will detect the hormorn changes before a clinic test will.

Also, maybe your body is just going through an adjustment. Depending on your age, you could just be going through hormonal changes. If youhave changed your daily routine by exercising or dieting this could triget your period to be delayed.

If neither test shows you being pregnant, just wait a couple of weeks and if you still don't get your cycle, go see the doctor.

Try an at home pregnancy test. The clinic may be using inadequate facilities or mixing your results up. EPT is supposed to be the best.

If you've had sex, you're late and you're "feeling" it [women can usually "feel" it - like a 6th sense] then you should definitely get a blood test done... just to make sure. If you're not then you're not but if you are at least you know and you can take it from there.

God Bless

Wait another week and then take another test. Many tests don't show until you're a little later on. Besides, you're only one week late & it sounds like you're stressed. Ah - stress can make you late!

if it makes you feel better get a blood test, but you may just be psyching yourself, you are after all only 1 day late.
