I am on the pill and I recently was about to go on vacation with my period starting on day # 2 of my trip when a friend told me that i could just skip the period section of my pills and move straight into the next pack. So without consulting my doctor i just skipped the green pills. That trip was about 3-4 weeks ago and a little more than 2 weeks ago i started bleeding even though i wasnt taking green pills. The bleeding lasted for 2 weeks and i assumed it was just because i skipped my period and it was just catching up, but then another friend told me that she had a miscarriage while on the pill. i thought after the leeding stopped that everything was done but then each time my fiance and i have sex, i bleed a little as if there is stil fluid left.
What is happening to me?
Was i pregnant?
Did i have a miscarriage?

Many women have miscarriages and don't know because it happens around the time of their period so they assume it's a period. About 50% of fertilized eggs either don't implant, or miscarry early on.

First of all, if you are concerned you should see your Obgyn. It will help put your mind at ease.
Second, when you mess up the order of the pill, your body will be messed up. THe pill is a hormone. YOur body follows the signal of the hormones to have a period. Since you didnt give your body a chance to have a period it is possible that it now doesnt know when to have one. The chances of you actually having a misscarriage are slim, but it is possible. Its possible even if you had taken the pills at the regular times.
I suggest seeing your obgyn and explaining all of this and getting a professional opinion.

Probably not but you should go to the doctor and have your hormone levels checked they will let you know its not so uncommon to have light spotting after sex if a little rougher than normal I would say the safest way to know is just go get a check up hang in there go get the peace of mind so you dont feel funny-Many blessings to you

well all i kno bout miscarriages is tht ur gona bleed alot..cuz i hav a frnd n shes had 8 miscarriages just like tht..but evryone is different..so just go chek it with a doctor

I cant say i would say "see a doctor". I know thats not what your looking for on here but its probally the best thing.
