This is the last time I am asking this question. My husband and I like the names Hannah Leah and Haley Alexis and we thought we were settled on them, but now we are considering Mckenna Lane and Maeve (May-ve) Rae. We are expecting twin girls soon and we really need to decide on the names so if you could please chose one of the two sets of names and if possible put why you like it more! Thanks so much!!!

We're having twin girls and I need a name that stylistically flows with Bridget Eloise, and the middle name MUST be Rita. The middle names are family names, and I fully intend on keeping them. The last name is McNamara. And they will already have big sister Audrey Sage, so the name can't start with an A or B. Any ideas?

I love unique and semi-strange names :) Considering my families names I had no chance lol...My mother's name is Arabella and my sisters names are Avia, Cordelia, Ophelia, and Tiadora

Do you have any pretty names that follow along those lines

What do u think about these names:
Aleera, Cassia, Portia, Rozaline, Rosamund, Quinlan, Ardis, and Lyra

Which do you like the best?

My wife and I had agreed when planning our family that we would have no more than two children. Well, God has seen fit to somehow bless us with a third child, and we recently found out it's going to be a boy.

Now, I've always have been a life-long Star Trek fan, and whenever I brought up naming one of our children after a Star Trek character, she always said, "You can name the third one whatever you want...", thinking we weren't having more than two. Well, now I'm holding her to it, and she says that she can't believe I'm serious and won't agree to the name I've picked. It's not so bad..... our son's name would be Ryker Patrick Shanley, after Commander Ryker from ST:TNG. Anybody that doesn't know the show would just think it's a unique name.

Do you think she's over-reacting? (At least I'm not naming him Worf , Quark or Odo....)

Just tell me honestly what you think about these names. My fiance and I are having twins and we won't know the gender until they are born, so we've come up with a list of our top 4 names for our babies.

Boys:
William Gabriel
Malachia Channing (Ma-la-kai)

Girls:
Serenity Abigaile
Madison Rosanne

I just want your opinion on the names in general. What do you think? Or, if you want, feel free to make suggestions on any of them!!-middle name, first name...which ever!

To let everyone know, the only thing I'm not sure that sounds good is Channing as a middle name for Malachia. If you can think of a great middle name (preferably 8 letters long) that goes with Malachia I would appreciate it and love you very much!

And, please comment (for my friend) she's having a girl. What do you think about Isabelle Rose? Which do you think sounds better Isabelle or Isabella?

Thanks!!

When they put a Y or I or extra letters in a baby's name? I have seen some pretty messed up spellings of a baby's name.. setting them up for crap when they are in school and older in life. Parents think they are trying to do something creative and original.. .but everyone else is naming their kids the same way. Can't we just use the regular spellings?

Sorry for the rant.. but I'm tired of people thinking they are being different when they are all being the same with their child's name. Give me something truly different then you get your cookie!

I've narrowed it down and here are my favorites.

Genevieve Marie and Everlie Sage.
(Both girls)

Now, my question is:
Does Everlie Sage sound too different from Genevieve Marie? Marie is a family name, so that holds a special meaning and I've always loved Genevieve and it's French, and so am I. It also can have multiple nicknames, which I love. And Everlie Sage fits my personality so much. The women in my family have a tradition of having 'ie' at the end of their names...I'm Danie...my grandmother is Rosie....My cousin is Mickie, and so on. So, that says a lot for me. And Sage, it's just a beautiful name to me. And I love the nature-like feel to it...

So, back to my question. Are they too different?

Thanks bunches!
And I'll be asking more questions in Baby Names so watch out! LOL
