This is the last time I am asking this question. My husband and I like the names Hannah Leah and Haley Alexis and we thought we were settled on them, but now we are considering Mckenna Lane and Maeve (May-ve) Rae. We are expecting twin girls soon and we really need to decide on the names so if you could please chose one of the two sets of names and if possible put why you like it more! Thanks so much!!!

These aren't all family names as a matter of fact none are all the names are names of my closest friends or people whom I grew up with who some how had an affect in my life.

Comments, will you have a mix of styles. Personally, I don't like to mix trendy & traditional myself. Also don't like same initial for twins, but at least they aren't too similar sounding or rhyming which is worse to me.
My favorites from your list are Hannah and Maeve
I'd use Hannah Lane & Maeve Leah (nicer flow, same middle initial is much more subtle)
If you want another H or M name:
Helena
Honora
Hope
Malin
Mariella
Marit
Matilda
Melisande
Milena
Mirella
Best of luck to you! Twins are a handful, how many other kids do you have? I had boy/girl twins after having 2 boys already.

If I could mix-and-match, I'd likely go with Maeve Leah and Hannah Rae.
Not only does it avoiding pairing two similar names that are stylistically miles apart (Hannah and Maeve are both classic choices, whereas Haley and especially masculine McKenna have much more modern, trendy feels), but also it helps with the flow and distinctness of each girls' name itself. Maeve is a gorgeous, less expected option (love it!), but it's a bit too abrupt and repetitive with the middle name Rae (both beginning with nearly identical Mae- and Rae sounds, and the V ending sound of Maeve not helping much to avoid that). Switching it with middle name Leah, however, completely eliminates this problem, and Hannah Rae works just fine as well (Hannah Lane would also be good, assuming all of these are family names). ;) Just a thought!
Ps. Per some above comments regarding Maeve, I actually have a cousin by this name (in her teens), and she's never had a problem with it ... even in the states. ;) The Mae- beginning is fairly obvious to most, especially since it's a common spelling of popular filler middle name "May" (just like Rae/Ray above). Simply adding a V sound to that really isn't difficult for most. LOL Perhaps including a clearer "MAYV" pronunciation guide will help if you end up posting any further questions, but in real life, it's really not a big deal. One simple correction will generally do, if someone really doesn't "get it" on the first try. ;)

If you're set on having the same first initials, I guess Hannah and Haley.
However, to be honest, I really prefer Haley Alexis and McKenna Lane together. The reason? Hannah Leah has too many "h"'s. And Maeve Rae, besides having the "ae" thing twice, will be getting mis-pronounced by everyone constantly for the rest of the poor girl's life.
I named my girls Suzannah Lorelei and Storm Alexis, and I have to say that Lorelei (she goes by her middle name), although a pretty name in my opinion, has been getting mispronounced and misspelled continuously forever, even by our own relatives. Lorelei finds it very tiresome, and she resents people trying to make it easier on themselves by just dubbing her "Lora" instead of even trying to say or spell her name.

I love the first two names.
Hannah & Haley.
Instead of doing Hannah Leah & Haley Alexis, you could do...
Hannah Maeve &
Haley Mckenna
I like those put together, since you can't decide on the first names. Put the two sets together...
God Bless you & your little miracles....

I like the names Hannah and Haley for twin girls. I don't care for McKenna and Maeve since the second name is hard to say.
Congrats!

Here is what I would say:
Hannah Leah
Haley Alexis
These names are a little more common.
They sound good together. ( and I like them individually too)
They were the first names you liked.
Mckenna Lane
Maeve Rae
I really like the way these flow.
They are a little more unusual
Honestly, both sets are good. I like the first set, but if you want something different then go with the second set.

I like Hannah And Haley too.
First of all, they are very normal names, but not TOO common.
Also, there aren't any names that people could make fun of them for.....
But.........
Beware of Unusual Names:
Don’t make things too complicated! Even if you both manage to agree on a certain difficult name, think about the fact that your child will have to go through life with it. Time and time
again your child will have to spell his name and explain its meaning. At school, and also later at work, your child’s unusual name will make him feel like the odd one out.
