Trouble Naming Son!!!?

My problem is that its my boyfriend's first son and he wants to name our son after him because he too was named after his father. I don't want to seem selfish or anything because I know its a joint decision but I really would love to name my son something else. What should I do?
The two options are:
1. Harry Richard Diggs IV
or
2. Dhani Richard Diggs
Please Help!

Phoenix Alexander for a first and middle name.?

I was given the duty of naming our child if it was a boy and my wife would name the baby if it was a girl. On Oct. 23, 2007 we had a handsome baby boy. I chose the name Phoenix Alexander followed by our last name. Keep in mind, I am 47 years old and by no means a modern day parent. The name just came to me and I felt it was somewhat unique without being crazy. I have had positive feedback on the name so far. Any thoughts from the internet world?

Do you think it's weird for a baby to have two first names or two middle names? or Both?

Girls- Evangeline-Rose Gabrielle (Two first names)
Evangeline Gabrielle- Rose (Two middle names)
Evangeline-Grace Gabrielle-Rose (both two first and middle)

Boys- Gabriel-Micah Nikolas (First two names)
Gabriel Micah- Nikolas (Two middle names)
Gabriel-Micah Nikolas-Alexander (both two first and middle names)

the other names I like for girls are Lilly, Morgana, Isbella, Dolliea, Gianna. The other names I like for boys are Julio, Ceasar, Dimitri, James, Andrews and a few others but the names listed above as the ones that really stick out to me. It's traditional sort of in my family that we either have two first or two middle names.

What boys names do you like....and what do you think about......?

the name "Zahli" for a girl? My other two children are Eliza Jasmine and Isaac Matthew but I have no clue as to any other boys names.

I really like Zahli Kate Vellacott (last name) for a girl. Kate is after my grandma who just passed away. Also like Brianna Kate and Zara Kate too.

Any suggestions for other names (please no grace, rose, isabelle, benjamin, nicholas etc...)

Baby name help! Mixed marriage.?

My cousin's 6 months pregnant. She's a Muslim lady with an Arabic name and her husband is an Orthodox Christian whose Serbian. She wants Muslim name. Husband wants Serbian name. Kids in mixed marriages often have really LONG names so they wanna cut it. All they know is, his last name, "Amidzic" must be there. Would it be wise to combine a Muslim and Serbian name or just choose one over the other? So that the child does not have to suffer writing his LONG name?

Has anyone else experienced this?

when i found out i was pregnant and started thinking about names i never had any problem thinking about girls names and the same one kept coming up again and again,BUT when it came to boys names i couldnt think of anything! i have kind of picked one now but im not as sure of it as i am of the girls name i picked. has anyone else been through this either girls or boys...........and i dont want any name suggestions either thanks !
