I am due to have a baby in 1 week and me and my husband still havent picked a name. The baby is a girl and we have erverything else perpared expect the name. We have a daughter now how is 3 years old. We want a name that sounds good with my 3 year olds name.

it is 4 a boy and it is a name. the name means land with hares. not the most lovely meaning but i like the name!!! i am not pregnant.

I am currently 24 weeks pregnant with quintuplets (by sheer miracle). My husband and I are desperately searching for unique names for baby girls (my latest ultrasound shows that our household is going to be overrun by females). The reason we have chosen to go with unusual names is because we both have unusual names. I'm Savannah (highly unusual for the time I was born) and his name is Zyke (pronounced Zeke). We are simply looking for input and suggestions - no doubt we've overlooked many unique names. Any input is appreciated. However, all I ask is that someone might come up with a unique name which contains Peyton (I have sentimental attachments to said name).

I like the name Caleb for the baby I'm expecting in six weeks, my partner hates it but I don't really care too much because he's insisting on his middle name being Douglas after his grandfather, I HATE THAT NAME!!!

I don't think there is any way to persaude him to lose interest in that name, ideas would be helpful.

I know some places say the name was dervied from a latin word that ment Heather. Everywhere I look I cannot find an accual meaning.

I have read that somewhere it was ment "to sweep" but that was what the plant was used for. I feal so confused...

Something vintage sounding, like a name you heard in an old movie perhaps. (But it has to sound "old")

ie: Edith, Ingrid

It also can't be common sounding.

ie: Mary or Dorothy

And finally, it has to be very feminine.

I know a lot of these points are all in the eyes of the beholder, so just answer what you think would work. Thanks for any help!
