the thing is my husband is indian and we have gone through all the indian names but were just not finding one that we like...maybe u can suggest some indian names too....he is indian(born in india)

My daughters name is Tia This is obviously MY favourite name. Other names i like r Myah, Kyah, Ria and Aiya but this is my personal choice as i like short sweet names, hope i helped Good luck

How about avoiding these names: Bertha, Hannah, Madison,
Jezabel? My grandmother was named Bertha and HATED it.
There are a lot of Hannahs, Madisons and Jezabels out there.
Please make sure the name is easy to pronounce. Anna is a good name and easy to say. Bethany is good too. Crystal is lovely as is the name Robin. Donna is a nice name too. If you want to encourage her with the name you give then name her Karen- which means pure. My cousin married a lovely lady named Karen and the family nickname for her is "Pure" for she is pure in heart and spirit.

Instead of choosing a common name, I think it is neat to create one yourself. Try looking at words or phrases in the Indian culture that have special meaning and create your own name incorporating it. For example, in Hindi "Leela" means romance. Or maybe choose a name which means "gift" or "blessing". Best wishes and congratulations!!
