I personally favour Harlin Grant for a boy. A girl, ofcourse, you'd have to use Harlyn or Harlynn, because it sounds for more feminine. Or you could always use the original idea and alter it slightly:
e.g. Harlon
Harlyna
These ideas may seem eccentric, but you might be surprised by some of the 100% unique baby names that are floating around nowadays.

I would spell the name Harlen. I think that is a masculine way to spell it and it looks good with Grant- Harlen Grant. My second pick would be Harlin. I would stay away from a "Y" for a boy. Y's usually look cutesy for me. Good luck.

Harlen and Harlin seem more like boy spellings. The ones with Y in them seem more girly. Don't go with those! And for the record..I love the name!

I like Harlan the best.
and agree that names with y are "usually" more feminine.
Harlan Grant looks good with all the A's.
But Harlen would be my first choice without knowing you wanted Grant fot the middle name.

I would say go with the top one Harlen. It is more phonetic in it's spelling and the boy will have less trouble with it when he is starting to write it.

I like the name by the way.

Good Luck!

I like Harlen. I don't like the second, third, or fourth, and the last two look two feminine. Harlen Grant sounds nice, I think. Good choice.
