It's not a favorite. It sounds dated to me and reminds me of Paula Abdul. I'd slightly prefer Pauline or Paulina or maybe even Paulette. You could use Paula as a nickname for any one of those names.

Not really a fan of 'Paula'.. ok for a woman i guess but not for a baby or child. There is so many prettier names out there for a little girl. Search the net for help.. so many websites available! good luck and congratulations!

my little sister´s name is paula
she is beautiful and careful
paulas tend to be a little picky but that is managable
do not hit paulas, since they could get really sad
and fall into depression
