I was thinking of naming my little boy Hamza. It means lion in Arabic. I just feel it sounds kinda strong yet still could be cute for a little baby.
I live in L.A. and there is so much diversity and much weirder names that i dont really feel that his name could really get picked on much but i was wondering other peoples thought

what are some good and bad points to this name? Why do you like/dislike it

is it okay to give a girl a boys name if it sounds somewhat feminine? i know boys names are becoming more popular as girls names, but i dont want people to think she's a boy because of her name. and i dont want her to be picked on for having a boys name. i'm considering names like logan, chase, jeri, tony...any thoughts or other suggestions?

Im not looking for a traditional name like mine (Jessica) but I am not looking for a ghetto name like LaFawnda. I was looking for something Hispanic, because I am half puerto rican and so is the father. But I do like the name CarMyne or w/o the capital "m" its pronounced Car-Mine. like Carmine Gotti. and her last name will be Cooper. What should I name her?

I don't like old names like Richard or Thomas. I like newer, trendy names that aren't too common.

If you didn't know, there are no common names like John and Linda in Chinese. All the names usually mean great things. It's kind of like getting a tattoo that means something to you. Every Chinese American person that has a Chinese name has been able to tell me what their names mean. Michaels and Johns have not been able to tell me what their names mean.
