When i tell people her name they either look at me thinking im crazy or they say its gorgeous. Some say she'll get picked on when she starts school, which has got me abit worried. I have 3 sons, Kieron, Kallum, and Adam, the 3 6's my family call them (for a joke) so i thought it'd be lovely when i had a girl to call her Angel. What do you think, and would you call your daughter Angel??

My sister-in-law is trying to get pregnant, and about a month ago I told her a very cute girls name. Ever since then she says that if she ever has a girl that's what she is going to name her. The problem is is that my hubby and I are trying for a baby and most likely will get pregnant before her (she's been trying for a very long time). Is it wrong to want to name the baby the name I told her about?

My Mom is very forceful and assertive, high-powered career, etc. She's a great person but definitely feels like she has a claim on everything her kids do. She won't tell my brother herself that she dislikes the current name choice (Zoe) for the baby girl they expect.
I think telling a person you think their baby-name choice is ugly is one of the most insulting things you could say to expectant parents. Not to mention it's absolutely not her place to determine the child's name.

Should I pretend I did it? If I do that my mom may be angry when they use that name despite her opinon. Should I actually think of some way to express what my mom thinks (that it's too trendy) by saying something like "oh, I've heard that name a lot," or something?

I know you'll say I should stand up to my Mom. Trust me, that's impossible and would start World War Three. Please believe me, that particular advice isn't useful (sorry) in this specific situation. :) Any help is appreciated!

I'm Asian (Hmong) and my name is Cheng Sue Vang. My wife's name is Nancy Ann Thao. The baby boy is due July 4th or couple days before and we can't decide on a name yet. Please help if you have any suggestions.

Or we have two names in mind (Deion or Zito)?

My friends call me Deion already for my nickname!!!

The baby's name will be Ava Mills, but we have yet to pick a middle name. I really love the names Kennedy, Scarlett, and Evengeline, but I'm not sure if any of these match well or not, so please help with your opinions.

should i use a theme for my kids?
some people do name themes(o.o.p.s.y.), some do initial themes(c.a.t.).
what do you think?

hello im having trouble thinking of a little girls name. my husband and i do not know what we are having and we have the a boys name (will be names after my husband). i like the unuasal names and so does we have one little girl names Sasha LaRita because both are uncommon. we have thought about:
Kenzie Diane or
Piper Diane

we have decided to have the middle name after his mom since our first child's middle name was after my mother. both of which have passed away.

Personally I think I want to stick with traditional but stand out type of names. I've considered Catherine, Christina, Britney (not lately), Ginger, Diana, Madonna (for a middle name), Venus, Athena, (after the goddesses), and I think Paris is a beautiful name if you think of the city and the trashy heiress, lol. And that's girls names. What's your choices?

We were leaning towards Ava for a girl but it was #5 on the Social Security Administration's 2006 baby names and we're not sure we want something that's so popular. My husband really likes John for a boy, but it sounds so common to me. What do you think of these ideas?

Arden
Ava
Aya (eye-uh)
Elle
Eve
Evelyn
Lila

Grant
John
Lou

Thanks!
