My husband's family has a tradition for all first born boys. They name them "Joe"and the middle name must begin with an "A". I love tradtion, and I think Joe Jr. is so cute! However, for the middle name I want "Atom", spelled exactly like that. My hubby likes it, my sister who is a teacher says it is DUMB! What to do?

I'm using Emma still, despite how ultra popular it is. My name is Jennifer and was SUPER popular when I was born. I didn't suffer too much so she'll be ok. Try this site.

After much debate my hubby and I settled on

Emma Anne for a girl

and

Noah Andrew for a boy.

We LOVE the name Emma Anne. (Anne is my middle name and Andrew is my husband's.)

But although we like Noah a lot we still have some reservations. It was a gut instinct and we know that you can never be sure of your names until the baby is in your arms. But what do you think? Would you stick with the first feeling on a name or would you pick another. If so what boy's name would it be?

I'm having a little boy, with conflicting dates (he's either due on the 23rd or 30th!)

His last name will be Foord, but we can't seem to come up with many names we like.

Some of you saw my other question about how my boyfriend moved in and he tried to get me pregnant. Well, we talked about it and we really tried this time. I went to the docter a few days ago and he said I was pregnant.

My friend is having a girl. It will be her third child. Her first two are named Michaela (girl pronounced Ma-Kayla) and Makye (boy prnounced Ma-Kai)

Please tell me what names are unique, modern and cute. It doesn't have to match the first two names.

Also, they are thinking of using the dads name and putting a cute twist on it. He is named Cornelius but they call him Cortez.
