There is a name, Caio which is Italian.
The English equivalent is Caius.
I could not find the meaning of the name, however the name Caius means REJOICE.

Interesting information about the name Caio:

- Name Day: March 10 - in memory of St. Caius
- Tizio, Caio, and Sempronio- That's how Italians refer to every Tom, Dick, and Harry!

I also found that it is a Welsh boy's name, meaning JOY.
And it is the name of a small town in Wales.

It is actually spelled Caillou (ky-you)

It is the name of a boy on a PBS or KET kids program. (my son loves that show!)Caillou's name comes from the French word caillou, meaning pebble, and from a ritual created by Dr. Françoise Dolto.
