In my experience it is spelled Raelynn. It is a very nice name, but people do shorten it to Rae when talking to the child I know.

I don't like any of these names and here's why:
Chavontae- this name should have stopped at just "Chavon", but no, it's just keeps on going.
Raelyn or Raylyn- Sounds like you really wanted a boy to name "Ray".
Kamari - Sounds too much like calamari. Squid. Yeah.
Chandrel and Shondrell- Come on. Why not just give birth to them right ON the Jerry Springer show?
Santiago isn't Italian OR African American and "Kiante" sounds like it's being served with favo beans.

Chavontae- NO
Raelyn- Beautiful name... I like this spelling, though.
Kamari- I think this is very original. The more I say it, the more it grows on me.
Chandrel- NO
Shondrell- NO
Santiago- is Italian or African American??-- Neither, It is of Spanish origin, and its meaning is "Saint James". A blended form of Saint Diego; Diego is a Spanish form of James.
Kiante- Same as Kamari, I like it, but the more I say it, the more it grows on me.
Whatever you choose, just make sure it goes well with the last name. Try saying a bunch of different ways. (i.e. Angry voice, over an intercom, in class, on the phone, nicknames you, friends, and bullies could call him/her.)

I am sorry but I really do not like any of these names.
Santiago is a place name not a person's name. In Argentina I believe. You would be as well calling the child Glasgow, London, Paris, Singapore of Arkansas.
