My name is Yayá, in Brazil there are many old songs with Yaya into it. Specially Samba.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4B7bDFr3ptI
The Misses / Young ladies from colonial Brazil were called Yayá.
In old Greece Yaya meant Woman, because it is such a old term nowadays they call there grandmothers Yaya.
I really love my name.

I would assume you are trying to be funny, but if you're not, I know a woman in her 50's named suzanne. Everyone calls her Yaya. They have forever, why I don't know.
Couldn't tell you what it means, but I do know at least one person really goes by that name. In our town, everyone knows Yaya.

In England we use it to define posh women - we call them "ya ya's" because they're always saying "ya - lets do lunch" into their phones.
There is an American book and film called "Divine Secrets of the Ya Ya Sisterhood" about her mother's friends "the ya ya's".
There is a model called Yaya (not her birth name) who came 3rd in America's Top Model competition.
It sounds a bit like Yoyo to me and would be open to much abuse from fellow kids (you know how cruel kids can be!)
If you like Y names then Y-not (gettit!) use Yvonne, Yolanda or Yasmin
