Don't try to change my mind about River. That is def. the first name. I just need middle name suggestions. Last name is two words with one syllable each. I would prefer a "normal" middle name since River is unusual.

My sister found out yesterday that she is having a girl. She and her husband want a name that isn't crazy but not the very common "Mary" or "Sarah" because their last name is VERY common... Smith. Any suggestions?

My husband wants to honor his grandfather by using Weston as the child's middle name. The boy's last name will be Belcher.
We've had several choices lined up, but found reasons to not use them all.
We picked David Weston Belcher but my younger brother's name is David and it's still too soon to use it.
Then it was James Weston Belcher, and we had planned on calling him Jamie. James is my husband's younger brother's name and we found the same problem here as with David.
Then we picked Aiden Weston Belcher, but now we don't want to use it because of two reasons: Aiden is a very popular name right now and my mother in law's name is Diane (all the same letters as Aiden) and we flat out don't like his mother.

So something that isn't David, James, or Aiden and something that uses Weston as a middle name.

My husband likes more common names (like David, James, and Jesse) and I like names that you don't hear that often (like Aiden, Reily, and Reece).

Help us!!!!

I have a daughter Breanna & another girl on the way. I want a name that flows well with it but not to similar (no Brandy or Britney- they are too close). We usually call my daughter Bre for short so I want a name that can be shortened as well so short names like Ava don't work well for me. Any ideas are a big help, thanks!

I would be pronouced like S-i-r-ee. I fell in love with this name about 10 years ago and now I'm at 30 weeks and getting close to the due date.

It's not a very well known name but I think it's beautiful. I've found a couple references about the name. There was some famous lady in Britain in the early 1900's. It also is an island in the story the Odyssey (a beautiful bountiful island.)

What do you think of the name (be nice)

What about middle names. My last name is Hunt so I can't have any C or K names. I'm fond of E names too. One idea is Syrie Elizabeth Hunt. Thank you for all responses.

Hubby and I don't particularly like the name Jacob, but we love the name Jake. Problem is, since Jake has only one syllable, it doesn't sound too great with the middle name we have in mind, which is Charles, a family name we'd really like to use.

Do you know of any names, other than Jacob, from which Jake is derived, and would match well with the middle name of Charles? Thanks!

Is this a really popular name? My second child is named Connor, which ended up being one of the most popular names that year and I don't want to make the same mistake again. Is Landon too popular?

So for I like Brooke, Sabrina, Ava, Jade - they're not especially unique but they're not too common. I can't stand Stephanie, Tiffany, Amber, John, Michael; uncreative, boring names we see EVERYWHERE. Any suggestions on male and female names?
