My friends and i were joking around in chem lab about what we would name our kids when we had some. When I told the names to my brother he swore that if I ever name any of my kids these names he'd never talk to me again.

I got to name the first baby, so now the wife has free reign to name the second. I don't like the flow of the name, and I don't really like the name Lucia. I like Antonia only because her nickname will be Toni. What say you?

i like the name Aiden for a Boy bucause it means fire and my fiance and i are both firefighters. but i don't know what i would name a girl they seem like they are harder to choose. what do you think i would like to know what you think would be a good name and what it means

My partner wants to call our daughter Edam after the town in the Netherlands. I think it is silly because the name is also used for a cheese.
I want to call the child Bazalgette after Sir Joseph Bazalgette the engineer who helped save London from Cholera epidemics in the nineteenth century. My partener likes Bazalgette but still wants to call our daughter Edam.
I don't want to give the child two first names. Especially because Bazalgette is hard to spell.
So should I give in and name the baby Edam or just call her Bazalgette anyway?

I pronounce the name Kyra, K-eye-ra, and I know several people with the same name and they pronounce it like that too. But I have seen a lot of TV shows such as Reba and they pronounce it Kera. Kyra Sedgwick name is also pronounced like that. I was just wondering what other people think about how this name is pronounced.

Hey my name is M'Lyn. I think its kind of cool but sometiems people make fun of it because my mom made it up. But I didnt pick it. So what do u think? Would u name ur baby M'Lyn or maybe something like it?

my husbands family tradition has been if it's a boy to use the fathers first name as the middle name and if it's a girl to use the mothers first name as the middle. Well we have the girls name picked out, but we can't really find anything to go with the name Curtis. Can you help out?

Have you ever seen someone (i.e. an actress) and admire them, so start to like their name after? This happened with Maureen O'Hara, an idol of mine and I thought she was beautiful so now I find the name Maureen prettier than I did before. Crazy huh.
