The United States has spent an enormous amount of money fighting terrorism, liberating the people and rebuilding Iraq. Shouldn't the Iraqis repay the United States in the form of oil since the United States economy is slagging partly because of higher gas prices?

Quite a few participants on this web site chronically cut and paste in "answering" the questions, rather than exercising original thought. Is this good or bad? Is it part of the dumbing of America? Is it part of the slothfulness of the lazy?

Cut down the trees on land that I own
Raise animals in humane but confined conditions on a farm I own
Drive what I wish
Lead a life style that suits me if I can afford it
Do pretty much anything I wish as long as it is legal

student grants, subsidized student loans, and GI Bills?

All these are forms of social spending from the haves (rich people are taxed at a higher pecentage) to the have less (students).

Do you want to live in a country where the only people who get educated are people who can afford it?
