Carole Simpson, who worked at ABC news and is now a jornalist instructor admitted she is a Hillary supporter. Do you think it wise for reporters to come out and admit who they support.

It was an unorthodox political endorsement, to be sure. And in throwing her support behind presidential candidate Hillary Clinton with an unprompted, heartfelt speech at a New Hampshire rally last month, Carole Simpson, the longtime ABC news anchor-turned-Emerson College journalism instructor, flung herself into the partisan fires.

WASHINGTON - Former White House press secretary Scott McClellan blames President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney for efforts to mislead the public about the role of White House aides in leaking the identity of a CIA operative.

In an excerpt from his forthcoming book, McClellan recounts the 2003 news conference in which he told reporters that aides Karl Rove and I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby were "not involved" in the leak involving operative Valerie Plame.

WASHINGTON - Former White House press secretary Scott McClellan blames President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney for efforts to mislead the public about the role of White House aides in leaking the identity of a CIA operative.

"There was one problem. It was not true," McClellan writes, according to a brief excerpt released Tuesday. "I had unknowingly passed along false information. And five of the highest-ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the vice president, the president's chief of staff and the president himself."

The US Constitution's first ammendment is freedom of religion and speech. That mean's one religion should not be forced on the masses.

Interesting that churches are preaching political matters in sermons to have their views forced on the masses. Also interesting that the only words allowed from the audience in these churches are "Amen," "Hallelujah," and "That's Right Brother." Does this sound like freedom of religion and speech?

These religiously brainwashed people refuse to even be curious about adopting 143 million orphaned children who want to be valued as much as white newborns are valued.

Guns are usually used to inflict injury or death on a living creature human or animal. There are many people whose lives are taken by people who pull that trigger. Living in Philadelphia, the murder rate is in the 400s, I know this. There was a police officer shot and killed 2 weeks ago and 2 more just shot last week. Children have also been shot and killed too. It is a national issue, too not just a Philadelphia issue. Can you admit that gun violence is a problem and an issue? There are a few points and I happen to partially agree with all of them. Guns are not the problem, people are. We cannot trust people with guns and if no one had them then there would be fewer deaths. It is my right to have a gun. I agree partially with all of these arguments. There is a problem of legal guns getting into the hands of someone who did not buy it or someone who legally has a gun using it against someone. Please I don't want to take your gun but how do we stop this madness of gun violence?

Perhaps. But wages are only part of the picture. According to the analysis I've linked to above, Employee compensation (that's wages & benefits) has risen nearly 7% since Bush took office.

As always with the numbers I post, that's after inflation has been factored in. In other words, that's a nearly 7% Real Compensation increase.
