Democrat women, why do you think Hillary Clinton is the best candidate?

What position of hers makes you think she's the best candidate for President? Are you voting for her because she is a woman?

Because she makes the most sense.
Edit: I agree with everything elway has said. No one else even comes close. The fact that the republicans fear her only serves to cement my belief.

I would never vote for anyone based on gender. The women who support her of course feel pride that she's female, but we've been waiting too long to waste our vote on a woman who can't do the job. If we didn't feel she was qualified, experienced and right for the job we would continue to wait.

The main position, and it's one that she has held for a very long time, that cements my vote is her approach to Iraq and the Middle East in general. I sincerely hate this war, we should never have gone into Iraq, but now we have created a mess we cannot just up and leave. I agree with her intention to bring the bulk of the troops home and leave residual troops to continue to engage Al Qaeda, make sure Iran doesn't plant their flag, and continue to help train the Iraqi military. I've paid close attention to her responses to the other problems we face in the Middle East as well. I trust her to exhaust diplomacy and all other measures before attacking another country. But at the same time I know that she would never hesitate to respond militarily when it became immediately necessary. She's tough, scary smart, and I think she's the most capable of cleaning up Bush's mess realistically and carefully.

The most qualified candidate and peacemaker is Bill Richardson. Junior Senators Hillary, Obama, and Barack are not my favorites. However, I am no longer Republican after 2000 and will vote Democrat.

I think you have to think back about her statements about baking cookies to get a picture of the real Hillary. She is just a warm and fuzzy mom who likes to bake cookies and stand by her man.......just like most of the women in America.

What woman hasn't been married to the only President of the United States who had oral sex with a teenager and used a cigar as a sex toy while in the White House?

What woman hasn't been a partner in a law firm that includes one partner who was mysteriously shot and killed while working for the President of the United States and another partner who went to prison for illegal acts?

What woman hasn't taken a small sum of money and turned it into a large pile in a couple of days playing the futures market.
