Without saying something stupid like, "Giuliani's dumb" or "Hillary sucks," please give an honest, well-thought-out opinion of who you think will win and why.

To those of you who absolutely despise Giuliani, why? What has he done to upset you?
Clearly, people who don't like Hillary are having 90's flashbacks. But, I honestly don't understand the Rudy hatred.
Can someone explain?

Hillary, she is winning right now in the polls and the people of America wants a change after Bush, plus Conservatives do not even like Giuliani anyway because he is not Conservative enough.

Honestly, I'd be real curious to see who wins New York. Remember we're talking about President here, not Senate. I bet Rudy would take the state. Nationwide, republicans would be pissed about such a liberal candidate, but if they lose the house this year and/or if their popularity is still down in 08, and if you can balance him with a souther conservative as VP (JC Watts) then I think they'd accept him & he'd carry a HUGE majority. Both parties are going to need long coat tails in 08 with congress narrowing this year.

Hillary is more decisive, more legitimate and more ready to lead this country out of the hole BUsh and the Republican part of congress have kept us for 7 years. Rudy is playing the 9/11 card way too much.

I would hope neither, but someone has too. I don't want Hillary to win. Giuliani I don't know much about, I do know that no matter who wins, no one is going to be happy. You can please some of the people some of the time, but you cant please all the people all of the time.
NoPresident is perfect and or keeps what they say they are running for. Why vote?

Hillary will win. Every poll says so. Giuliani is a sleaze and every day his numbers drop the more people get to know him.
Clinton on the other hand has had nothing but mud thrown at her by Limbaugh types for so many years that when people actually see they don't see this evil demon the GOP wants her to be.
Clinton in a landslide. I'm already celebrating.

At the risk of giving an apparently non-well-thought-out opinion: It's way too early to make an intelligent prediction about this.

Well, I must say it isn't a terribly encouraging choice.
Hillary is a socialist. There are many of us who feel that socialism doesn't work. Also, Hillary has many people who out and out hate her guts and would do anything to see that she is not elected. Personally, I would not vote for her, although she is better than John Edwards. She will probably choose Obama as a running mate. So, she has a reasonably good choice there.
Giuliani is a RINO, which might actually help his chances in this particular election. I wouldn't be happy about voting for him, but I would probably vote for him before voting for Hillary. I am very sure that there are many people who feel that same way. At least he gives the impression that he is strong on defense and that he isn't a socialist.
Not a great field of candidates out there.

Niether will.
Romney in 08
Hillery is a woman, and the US is not ready for that milestone yet.
Rudy? He did 9/11, buy America's Mayor has done little since. And besides he's too liberal.
Breck Girl and Osama, opps Obama, are just too unknowns and freshmen at that, no exec experience.
Romney has:
Education
Very articulate and well informed
Very photogenic
Good core traditional values (1 Marrage and christian beliefs)
And he has more money than God!
Statistic say that 97% of candidates with the most money win
(The exception being Keary and Edwards in the last election)
