I learned it when i was in kindergarten and had to say it all thought high school. but i don't understand why. i think we should say the preamble to the constitution. at least then would understand what im saying and believe in it. i mean, think about it:

I pledge alligence to the flag of the United States of America
And to the republic, for which it stands
One nation, under God, indivisible,
With liberty and justice for all.

ok, well thats all pretty and nice. but i dont pledge alligence to the flag of the US, i pledge alligence to the country itself. and we aren't supposed to be one nation under God, we are supposed to be one nation under any religion you choose even if God isn't apart of it. the justice thing is ok i guess...now think of the preamble to the Constitution. it's a lovely piece of writing.

Seems like the good ole’ boy GW has an approval rating of somewhere in the low 30’s or so? Not doing so great. No wonder all you dems out there hate him (and many of the Reps). That is abysmal. 30ish % of the whole country think he is doing ok. That is lots and lots of people think that he isn’t. Ok, I concede, he is doing awful.
Of course, whats that say about the left wing congress that is doing 33% worse with an approval rating of somewhere in the low 20s…. Guess our god-awful, good for nothing president is still a third better than the bottom feeding democratically controlled Congress.
So keep shouting off about how awful our guy is. Your whole posse of socialists are doing a LOT worse.

The left is always trying to remove one freedom or another, replacing it with forced acceptance or brainwashing. What is it about freedom that is so terrifying to you? Is it the responsibility? The idea that you may have to stand up for something real?
Freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, the idea that a person has the right to think any way they want about someone.
2nd part-How does the right to burn a flag, or kill a baby, or publically flaunt perversion become more important that the right to think, the right to speak, or the right to defend oneself?

help Iraq and make them a democratic country, but they won't do anything about the warring people in Africa. It's obvious the only reason we are in Iraq is for oil. Africa doesn't have a natural resource we want, so republicans of course don't care if they die.

With violence severely down (down 70% since the surge), the tide has turned in the Iraqi war. Even historians and editiorial writers are turning out opinion pieces stating their opinions on how we won the war.

Why do libs want to lose this war?
