Why are liberals so afraid of freedom?

The left is always trying to remove one freedom or another, replacing it with forced acceptance or brainwashing. What is it about freedom that is so terrifying to you? Is it the responsibility? The idea that you may have to stand up for something real?
Freedom of speech, the right to bear arms, the idea that a person has the right to think any way they want about someone.
2nd part-How does the right to burn a flag, or kill a baby, or publically flaunt perversion become more important that the right to think, the right to speak, or the right to defend oneself?

Liberals think differently. They believe it's better if someone tells them what to do.

They think gvmt should fight poverty, they shouldn't give themselves.
They think others should take care of their health care, retirement, public education, etc...

Liberals would settle with receiving a stipend so they can buy their booze on the weekend as long as everything else was paid for.

Then they complain when others aren't doing it the way they want.

Conservatives on the other hand would rather life their life free, not having others tell them how to live.

Generally they are smarter then the lemmings who like others running their life.

I count at least 5 separate issues that you have dumped into a liberal vs. conservative category here. There are a few of them that I take your side on.
Each of these issues is a debate unto itself. If you ever want to convince people that abortion is wrong or gun control is unconstitutional or any other point, you need to address the issue not attack everyone you perceive as liberal. Liberals and conservatives have thousands of unique opinions on every major and even every minor issue. I am here to tell you that there isn't a vast group of clones that think exactly alike and call themselves liberals. Some people you respect and admire probably have a liberal view of some issue. Most liberals have a conservative view on some issue. We are not 2 big groups opposing each other. We are a nation of people with different views trying to find a common ground. Deal with the issue and stop labeling people. We will never make progress on any of these issues if we insist on labeling everyone who disagrees with us as an enemy.

You just don't understand the meaning of freedom, you are using an American dictionary!
Freedom is to walk down a street with a lack of fear of being mugged, made easier when you restrict people from having guns. Being holed up with an arsenal to protect yourself, is not freedom.
Only an American could put burning flags and killing babies in the same category.
Nobody wants to burn the flag, just for you to understand that they have the FREEDOM to do so!
Mothers don't want to have abortions, but you put them in a position where they have no options, (no health care for the poor, etc)
