I'm not really sure what waterboarding is but it doesn't seem pleasant. I don't have an issue with making a prisoner feel uncomfortable or even scared but to active cause him harm does bother me.........

Normally a doctor would not cut off the leg of a patient. But under extreme conditions that is exactly what is called for. Normally America would not water-board a prisoner. But under extreme conditions that is exactly what is called for.
Arguments presented here are not taking the conditions into consideration. It is like criticizing a doctor for cutting off someones leg without considering that the patient had an infection that would kill him otherwise. Doctors do not enjoy cutting legs off.
The same applies to Americans. We do not enjoy using extreme methods to gather critical intelligence. But under extreme conditions, where that intel may save countless lives and time is of the essence, that is exactly what needs to be done.
If the USA is not willing to deal with Islamo-fascism in the ways necessary, the USA will not be the beacon of anything anymore.
Constitutional restraints have been removed in the past. They were done during the Revolution again in 1812, again in the Civil War, again during World War II and America managed to survive as America, reinstating all those restraints once the threat was over.
The Constituion is not a suicide pact. If it is encumbering our ablitly to defend America it will be suspended in part, temporarily. Again, regardless of which party is in the White House at the time. We cannot allow our hands to be tied in such a way that we will be unable to defend ourselves.

1. They have never been strapped to a board and suspended up side down on their back in water to simulate drowning repeatably untill they lose consciousness or suffer an aneurysm.
2. They are convinced that everyone who suffers this is 100% guilty of crimes against them despite the fact that no trials have been held and no opportunity was given for the victims to present any form of defense.
3. Even if they are not convinced they will support it because if they do not then they would have to admit to themselves that we have become monsters of the same kind our forefathers were heroes for fighting in Europe and the Pacific. It's easier to just believe were on the side of the angels then to look those ugly truths in the eye and call for change.
4. The situation of a prisoner having vital information of immediate importance to save countless lives is at best very uncommon. It is so uncommon that we maintain a huge intelligence service to find that type of information in literally thousands of other ways including informants, electronic surveillance, satellites, drone air craft, and good old fashioned investigation. A victim of torture will not give 100% reliable information because they will say or do anything to make the torture stop including what ever they think their interrogator wished to hear. Any information extracted by torture still has to be confirmed by some other more reliable source. These are the main reasons that our nation made a policy to never utilize torture because the moral concerns far outweighed the potential benefit. I am tired of the argument that torturing saves lives. Show me any single case that it has. There is one practical use for torture that is nearly 100% reliable. Under torture a victim will admit to crimes even if they are innocent and will make statements against their or their peoples interest. How does that help us if were the good guys?

I would assume so!
Waterboarding is fun, you should try it sometime!!!

You would, also, have to remember that this is an illegal war on our nation's part. And that this war was started by our nation. The people of Iraq are fighting for their freedoms and people from other nations are merely joining in against an evil aggressor. By waterboarding them, we are merely confirming the fact that we are the evil aggressors!
Read what John McCain had to say about waterboarding!

"something of the international" is a very obscure and all-inclusive word. Iranian rulers do not see the rustic as a beacon of homestead and freedom, yet i be attentive to many Iranian people who see the rustic as such, as a place the place they don't look to be compelled to declare 5 pretend prayers an afternoon or positioned on a scarf on their hair. merely ask the Iranians of L.A. if that they had want to flow lower back "homestead". As for the "homestead" concept, i'd say that a lot of human beings interior the international would gladly depart their very own to become American. that's extremely significant, so i think of your "very conservative" buddy is robust.

Most probably think waterboarding is a trend from the West Coast (i.e. 'Left Coast'), and therefore undesirable.

Hatchlings support waterboarding, not to be confused with Republicans. Although hatchlings have siezed control of the party like a fatal case of dysentery.

Absolutely. If you cannot tell the difference between murderous savages who wish to destroy all and the good people of the world then that is your problem not mine. Terrorists do not deserve to be treated all sweet and cuddly.

Bin Laden is CIA.
They have the military brainwashed that there is an enemy. There are people at the top who know this is a WAR ON FREE PEOPLE>
There are shady figures behind the supposed 'political parties',
they are bankrupting our country, they are devaluing the dollar.
Brace yourselves for the NEW WORLD ORDER AGENDA
of depopulation,
incarceration,
slave nation.
