I had never heard of this think tank before, and now that I have some knowledge of it, it seems to me that the Iraq war was planned WAY before 9/11, in fact, it was being planned while CLinton was in office. Does the Bush admin really expect us to believe that the war in Iraq wasn't already an inevitability? Do they really expect us to believe they went in on bad intel, when ALL ALONG they had been planning a pre emptive strike? What am I missing here? Has anyone read this?

People are suggesting that if he ran for President in a few key states and won, it could prevent either major party from winning an electorial victory, and, Bloomberg could proceed to build a coalition type government with his electorial votes, and, a compromising Presidnet, be it Republican, or, Democratic.

I have read a couple of rants disguised as questions just this morning. And they were posted by liberals.

Why are they so obsessed with this 'biased' channel? Doesn't CNN have anything worthwhile to talk about?

The Fairness doctrine was lifted by President Reagan in 1987 without judicial review, and, support of Congress. So, there was no free speech in America for much of the 20th century with the Fairness doctrine in place? By the way, the Fairness Doctrine was created with the advent of broadcast radio.

Trent says no amount of phone calls against the Immigration Bill will change his mind. That means he does not want to hear the wishes of the people who elected him.

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2003760421_lott24.html

"I've had my phones jammed for three weeks. Yesterday I had three people answering them continuously all day," Lott said last week. "To think that you're going to intimidate a senator or any senator into voting one way or the other by gorging your phones with phone calls — most of whom don't even know where Gulfport, Mississippi, is — is not an effective tactic.

Has he turned to the Bush way of ruling? Do not listen to the people but do what you want anyway?

The epicenter of all terrorist activities is Pakistan's North west frontier province(which includes Waziristan) and Pakistan occupied Kashmir. I'm sick that they are searching in Iraq and North Korea.

Can't their 'excellent' satellites see the terrorist camps there or the 'Pentagon' is pretending?

where as liberal pundit shows are almost nonexistent?

Do you think it could be because right-wingers like to be told what to think

Or

is it because they tend to think in black and white simplistic terms and like to have somebody to demonize? (mexicans, muslims, liberals, feminists, gays, etc)

I listen to the right-wing radio shows every once in a while, and no joke I come on this board and cons are parroting the same thing. One day the topic will be "regulating talk radio" or "Pelosi visiting Syria (along with three other Republicans) and how she's a traitor" I come on this board and no suprise, that's what cons are talking about.

I usually vote Republican because I tend to agree with Republican issues and differ from the Democratic stance on certain issues. What do you do if your party candidate does something you really don't like or don't agree with but you don't like the other person either? Do you vote against your cadidate just to teach them a lesson, vote for them anyway or not vote? I have written letters and made phone calls none answered.

As an Englishman who is presently in the USA on business, i feel i must ask this question. Most Americans who ive asked have never seen salad and thought i was telling porkies. It is well known to other countries, that Americans are quite gullible, hence the American government keeps the secret of salad quiet, so sales of beef rise.
SALAD IS OUT THERE-DO NOT BE FOOLED

A politician wrote this once about the people . Read it carefully .I apprehend that excluding the people of the colonies from all share in the choice of the grand council will give extreme dissatisfaction, as well as the taxing them by act of Parliament, where they have no representative. It is very possible that this general government might be as well and faithfully administered without the people as with them; but where heavy burdens have been laid on them, it has been found useful to make it as much as possible their own act; for they bear better, when they have, or think they have, some share in the direction; and when any public measures are generally grievous, or even distasteful, to the people, the wheels of government move more heavily.

What better way to have a war and then continue it against the will of the people .
All I hear now is how we can not pull the troops out . I remember one day we had no troops in Iraq ;a day later we had as many as we do now .
Reverse this.
